So I "tiptoe" cause I don't WANT you to k.n.o.w.

Janna held her breath as the floorboard under her foot creaked. She was sneaking out late at night, even though it had been deemed to dangerous what with the heightened Eraser activity in the area. They were searching for something, but oddly enough it didn't appear to be their gang. If it was, they would have found them by then, and they'd have a fight on their hands. Or a flight. She hated running away, though. She'd joined a gang because she'd wanted to fight. When no one opened their door to yell at her, she continued down the hallway and flew down the stairs. She didn't breath again until she was outside. From there, she took off into the night sky, her bat wings beating the air, carrying her up and away from the gang's home.

Chris, a loner experiment was flying late at night, patrolling what he deemed to be his turf. His bark was worse than his bite, though. He smiled to himself, then noticed another shape shooting in the sky. His eyes narrowed slightly and he steered towards the shape. It looked to be an avian experiment like himself.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Janna hadn't noticed the other form yet. She thought she was alone in the sky, flying through the stars.

Chris followed her from above, his dark wings and hair and skin making him but a shadow against the brilliant full moon.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Janna, just by chance, looked up and gasped when she saw another avian silhouetted against the moon.

Chris smiled smugly and soared down next to her. "Who are you?"

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Janna tilted her bat wings so her body was upright. "Janna," she said, eyeing him warily.

[~echo~]

"Hey cool wings!" he commented. "I'm Chris. I'm a loner."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

This guy seemed way to friendly for her taste. "What are you doing in this area? Haven't you heard it's a hot zone for Erasers?"

[~echo~]

"Sure I have," the boy replied. He showed her a rather fresh wound on his arm. "I know from experience. And whadabout you? A girl shouldn't be out here all alone," he taunted.

(Wrong 'too' xD)

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"A girl shouldn't be out here all alone," she mimicked. "I can take care of myself, you know. You on the other hand, judging from that wound, need help."

[~echo~]

Chris examined the wound. "Eh, I'm alright. And I was only joking, Janna."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Janna huffed loudly. "Maybe you should watch what you say. Some people might take offense."

[~echo~]

He gave a boyish shrug. "Okay then. But what are you doing out here?"

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Taking a flight," Janna replied. "What does it look like? I needed to stretch my wings."

[~echo~]

"Same here. Wanna fly with me?"

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Janna eyed him uncertainly. Could she trust him? He seemed friendly enough, but often that set off loud alarm bells in her head. "Sure..." she said slowly.

[~echo~]

Chris nodded nonchalantly. "Lets go then."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Janna flapped her wings to rise higher into the air, and then swooped downward in a graceful, upside down arc.

[~echo~]

Chris didn't seem impressed and barrel rolled in the air.
