It was times like these, when no one was around, that Troy was usually the happiest. Don't get him wrong; as a son of the God of Thieves, he loved people, but sometimes he wanted a little alone time by himself. Sitting there next to the lake under a tree, drinking some contraband soda, he was happy to say the least! Nolan had just bought a full pack of rootbeer from him and after that- Silence.

It was odd to be alone, specially since he could smuggle just about anything into camp, but hey! He'd take the opportunity when it came any day! Wearing his favorite headphones, the brown-haired child of Hermes seemed to do just that, smiling faintly

[Lyla]

Nina's bright blue eyes shifted about, seeing the boy down at the lake she became curious. Knowing he would probably rather be alone, Apollo's daughter skipped over to a bench in the shade, knowing out here her lyre would be soft and quiet. Hopefully the birds would join in today. As she began, her fingertips lightly danced across the silver strings, a light tone swirled around ever so gracefully.

At first, Trot didn't notice because of his music. However, when his current song ended, heard heard something. Blinking, he removed his headphones and looked around before spotting the girl. He paused his song and watched her, listening

Nina would continue he smoothly, the few birds that hung around decided to join her, perching on the bench and her knees. She smiled at their presence, but didn't miss one note.

Troy sat up and listened with a smile. Se was really good at this! Staying to the shade, he moved and crept nearer, hiding in the plants

[Lyla]

Nina finished the short little piece she had been practicing, she set her instrument next to her and held out her palm. Letting the small avian settle on it. "Hello, little thing." She cooed. "Where are you from?" She asked curiously, as if trying to pull out a conversation.

Troy settled in close to her, watching the girl curiously. He'd seen her a few times, but that was it really. She seemed alright, especially if birds landed on her! He wondered which cabin she was from again….

Nina let the bird take wing again and settle on the branches above, "I thought you might have wanted to be alone," she speaks softly, almost quiet enough that he couldn't hear. "You looked rather comfortable over there." Her bright eyes look at him, smiling softly. "What's your name? It's Troy isn't it? I've seen you around." She states calmly. Nina was only really used to being with her siblings. The rest of the kids from Apollo's cabin watched out for her. She was one of the youngest, it she didn't mind.

Troy blinked in surprise but came out of his hiding place and plopped down on the ground near here. "Eh, I'm used to company. And Yeah, I'm Troy." He said with his usual goofy but mischievous grin. "I've seen you around too, but I'm sorry. I don't know your name." He apologized, scratching his head

"I'm Nina, " she laughed. "What are you doing way over here anyway? Aren't the Hermes kids doing anything today?" Nina blinked curiously

Troy shrugged. "Eh, not really. I just took some time to myself is all. Oh! You're pretty good with your lyre by the way." He added with a smile "I heard it between songs."

[Lyla]

Nina giggled, "thanks, but most my siblings can play too. I just do little songs on it." She shrugged with a smile, "I'm one of Apollo's daughters by the way." She adds

"Oooohhh…. That's cool!!! Though, please don't tell me you do poetry. I've heard your father's poetry before. No offense." He adds quickly, holding up his hands in a soft of defense/surrender way.

[Lyla]

She laughs, "No, I dont write it. I read it though. One of my sisters poems are really good!" Nina exclaimed excitedly. "Well, I better get back, or they'll all start worrying about me..." She says getting up. Grabbing her lyre, "I'll see ya around Troy."

Troy nods and grins. "I should go too probably. Nolan will probably be looking for me." He said, sranding and stretching before givjng a friendly wink and grin to Nina. "Cya some other time!" He said before jogging off to the woods

[Lyla]

Nina smiles lightly, blushing just a bit. As she thought to herself, 'that might have been the longest conversation I've had with someone here in a long while.' Hearing one of her sisters call out her name she skips over, back in the direction of camp. Happily humming to herself as she approaches her one sister, who looping an arm through hers and leading her over to a few other siblings, playing music on stumps. Nina sits and listens to her brothers play mostly, just thinking,

A few hours later, about an hour or so before dinner, Troy was back near the lake, conversing with some dark haired kid an trading off some cans of root beer for a few bucks. Troy was a smuggler after all, bringing forbidden food to any and all paying customers

Nina stuck close to her siblings around dinner time. She used to have a bad habit of disappearing, so they made sure she was always around. One of them would always hold her hand as if she was a child, she didn't really mind though, Nina guessed she came off that way to just about everyone. Everyone was getting ready for dinner as two of her older brothers and her sat down at their table. Often the Apollo kids would chat before, during, and after a meal. So they did just that. Her brother James's voice broke into her thoughts, "where were you today? Ya ran off without a word Nin." She just shrugged and replied, "I was practicing." Was all she answered with. She had to get that short peice right for his birthday coming up..

Tomas and Troy soon arrived at the dinner tables before Tomas nodded to Troy and hurried off to his table, Troy going to his Hermes table and sitting down with his 'siblings'. He saw that girl from earlier though and waved to her before sitting. So many siblings..... No wonder it was one of the loudest tables

Nina saw the boy waving, smiling slightly she waved back. The two guys next to her looked in the direction of her gesture and narrowed their eyes at him. They had obviously decided not to question her and went on with their conversations. One of her sisters had invited her to the stables for tomorrow, invited meaning, she had no choice but to go with. So Nina looked forward to that.
