Nala nodded her head, the frown growing. "Exactly. You never know who's listening in on our conversation." Of course, she was joking about all of this, though it was a little fun to just keep on going.

She couldn't help but softly giggle,"yep"

She got to her feet, getting a little restless of sitting down. Moving around the kitchen and grabbing random food items to eat. "It must've been quiet while you were alone here," she commented suddenly, grabbing a plate. "I can never handle silence," she continued, chuckling slightly, "worries me too much."

She nodded,"I read a few books though so the silence wasn't bad" she said.

She shuddered, even though it was warm inside the room. "I can't help but feel like someone's watching me when I'm alone. Weird, huh?"

She gazed at him,"why"

She shrugged, a bit embarrassed. "No idea, I just hate being alone, I guess. I don't really like silence either, I need to fill it with something."

She nodded,"I totally understand"

Nala let out a chuckle, though it seemed forced. "Good, we can be weird together," she tried to joke.

She smiled,"of course, lets be weird together" she giggled happily.

She managed a weak smile. "Well, at least I'm not alone in this," she said slowly. "That's a good thing, I guess."

She hugged her,"yep" she said as she hung around her neck.

She stiffened at her touch, her hands hovering over the plate on the counter. She went as rigid as stone as Kia leaned against her.

She jumped off,"sorry, should I not?"

Her shoulders relaxed, when Kia jumped back. "Ah...er...sorry." She cleared her throat, coming to life and moving again. "It's just uh...I...er...have a problem with people touching me." Nala gave Kia an apologetic smile, wincing a bit.

She shook her hed,"Its fine, dont apologize"

She gave her a weak smile, happy that Kia seemed to accept it. That was the nice thing about this place, Leo and Kia just seemed fine learning about what was odd about Nala so easily.

She gazed at what she was making and smiled lightly.

Nala noticed her stare and offered hesitantly, "Want me to make you a sandwich?"
