Nala frowned again, though she stood up, shrugging a little. "Well, if you say so, I won't prod you any further. Not many people like that, huh?" A thin smile appeared, her lips turning a little white as she did so. She gestured towards the door, asking, "Do you have your job hours now? Or do you have to go in later?"

"Soon, but you seriously have no ground to get me on. She rolled her multicolored eyes and chuckled softly. Then stood.

"Good! I'm tired of just sitting around!" Nala said, throwing her hands up in the air in exasperation. True she had only been inside for only a day, but to her, it felt more like a week.

She chuckled and started towards the door. Kia had on black jeans and a red tank top, a black jacket over it. "Have fun Leo"

Nala jogged after her, waving to Leo as she called to him, "Don't set this place on fire; wouldn't be a good start."

Leo rolled his eyes and continued what he was doing.

Nala caught up to Kia and jutted a finger back to where Leo was. "Will he be fine in there, by himself?" She asked, frowning a bit.

"Of course he will be, plus we definitely want to be out of there before noon" she said.

"Er...and why's that?" Nala asked, glancing at Kia in the corner of her eyes.

"His lover" she said.

[mationix]

"Ah...? His lover? I feel kind of hurt that he doesn't want me around when she shows up," Nala sniffed indignantly, like she was actually hurt by this.

"Yeah the reason is because who your calling a she, is actually a he" she chuckled gently.

"Oh." That was all Nala said, all she could say. Though she should have no reason to act so surprised or confused; no man had really made her stomach flutter just by being around them. As she flicked the thought away she shoved her hands in the pockets, a thoughtful frown on her face. "How long have they been together?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.

"Almost a year" she said simply with a shrug.

"Huh." Nala nodded slowly and finally gestured towards Kia. She asked her, "And you? If you don't mind sharing it with me."

"No one, im bisexual but never really found anyone to my liking" she admitted with a shrug.

"Too many idiots around?" Nala asked, the beginning of a smile appearing, then disappearing.

She nodded "pretty much"

Nala coughed, hiding quiet chuckle. She glanced around as they made their way to Starbucks, a bright look in her eyes. "It's kind of beautiful out here," she grudgingly admitted, looking like she was regretting saying that.
