A figure suddenly whipped past him, spooking his horse as they dove into the flames only to reappear shortly after holding someone wrapped in a cloak bathed in green fire.. Therip the cloak from the princess as she coughs and dump their own flaming cloak into the raging flames... A boy about Ari's age with pitch black hair...

Brinn struggled to calm his horse and stared at the boy, frowning, "P...Princess?"

Ari omly seems to rouse when the boy literally punches her in the stomach and instantly starts coughing, gasping deep breaths.

The boy whips around to face Brinn... A kracken pin on his armor and storm grey eyes flashing briefly," I wouldnt do that if I were you,,,"

The knight's blue eyes widened as he grimaced and nearly fell from his horse. His fingers loosened for a second, dropping his sword, and Brinn had to take a moment to recover from the pain.

By then the heir had disappeared into the foliage next to the road. A large man with a war hammer stood behind him, he was no knight... But he had certainly crumpled the back of Brin's head...
