"Do you have the measurements memorized?"

She nodded with a blush, "Yes, of course. I never let anyone else make my dresses."

She smiled softly. "Alright. Tell me what you want as the bodice."

Briar sat down on Anita's bed and explained how she wanted the dress made and what kind of measurements were needed, "I have a small string of pearls in my room. Do you think they could be added to the bodice of the dress?"

Briar nodded and ran out of the room, hurrying to her room to grab them.

She had stitched everything together, leaving a hole for the pearls. The Queen slid them through, grinning as she held up the finished dress. "There. What do you think?"

Anita smiled. "Alright, go put it on. I'll take you downstairs."

Briar took the dress and nodded, moving behind a dressing screen to get changed.

Anita smiled. "Oh, darling, we need to do your makeup! We can do each other's makeup, if you'd like."

"I've never had someone else do my makeup," Briar said shyly, "I never had anyone to show me."
