"I said shut it, Vampire." Jacko said with a growl, clearly annoyed as he and Freya were standing out in the hallway. Freya scowled and rolled her eyes. "Just because you don't like to hear that I'm right doesn't mean you can tell me what to do, Blood sack." She returned. Jacko narrowed his eyes at her in frustration and irritation. "You aren't right. You're incompetent." He muttered. Freya threw her hands up in exasperation "Ya know, just because you use big words doesn't make you smart. My brothers could easily outsmart you on any battlefield." She said. "But they couldn't read a single book, I'm sure." Jacko retorted with a chuckle. Freya growled. "Book smarts aren't always important ya know, real experience is much better than sticking your filthy nose in a book and expectin' to learn something from it!" She half yelled. Jacko grit his teeth and glared at her, feeling his blood boil with anger and starting to surface as Freya felt her fangs come out and her eyes go red with similar anger. Oh boy.....
Amalee loved her job, she really did, but one thing she did NOT love is to see the dorm residents get into fights. There were many reasons, but the main one was that it would reflect badly on her, the dorm head, to let them beat the snot out of each other. So when she saw the two about to have a full out brawl, she quickly ran towards them with her hands held up, her long pink tresses trailing behind her, "Sto~p it you two!" She cries out desperately. She did not, under any circumstances, want to explain to the principle why the dorm expenses went mostly to repairs again this month.
Both of them looked over with surprise and blinked. Jacko was the first one to recover. "Sorry, but this one was causing trouble." he said. Freya glared at him. "Me cause trouble? You're the one who came over here and started telling me I'm bad. Oh yer a vampire so you must be an evil lady." Freya said in mocking tones with a half smile. Jacko growled at her. "Vampires like to make habits of turning my people in their own blood slaves! So of course I think you're evil!' He yelled with anger, his blood rising to the surface. "Well I-" Freya started to reply but then stopped as the scent of blood got to her and her eyes widened. "I..." She trailed off, staring at Jacko, who was looking at her curiously but then realized what was happening and got himself under control, turning his head. "See? Vampires can't control themselves." he muttered. Freya blinked a bit before shaking her head and getting herself under control. "Well, It's not my fault. Not all vampires are evil!"
Amalee slows down when she gets close enough to them and sighs a bit, "Come one guys, calling others evil without having any cause to back it up isn't nice," she scolds waving her finger a bit, "and continuing an argument that you could have walked away from and let go isn't real mature." She takes a deep breath and straightens her back crossing her arms.
Both sigh at the same time as if practiced. "Oh fine." Jacko says. "We're sorry for fighting, but you need to learn not to judge everyone just because they're a vampire." Freya said to Jacko. Jacko rolled his eyes and turned to walk away. "I will when a vampire proves they're not bad." He said before entering the dorm. Freya sighed and looked at Amalee. "He really has a grudge, that one." She said
She nods in agreement and huffs a bit, "It would be too easy for us to know what it is," she mumbles, "and I suspect that this isn't the first time you two have gone at it?"
Freya shook her head. "No, not the first time. Though when we first met and didn't know what the other was, we got along ok. Then he learned I was a vampire and, poof, hostile as an enemy on a field." She grumbled. "But then again, what he says is true. Vampires do enslave Bloodmaynes...." She admitted with a sigh. "You familiar with the stories?" She asked Amalee
"Oh,well, bloodmaynes absorb blood and store it in their bodies to make enhancements to whatever they need to or to heal themselves. All that extra blood makes em mighty tasty targets for vampires. Vamps'll drain them down after gaining their trust and keep em as blood slaves since a bloodmayne's actual blood is really addicting." Freya said with ashrug. "There aren't many of em, but this happens commonly, so his grudge is kind of expected."
