"Well, I'm not sure if my stories would interest you," Eren murmured as he gazed up at her, "But I can tell you the story of when my parents died."

She frowns and tilts her head,"... Wouldnt that make you sad?"

Eren shrugged, running a hand through his dark hair, "Well, I dunno. It's been a few years, I'm used to thinking about it now."

She reachesnout and runs her own hands through his hair, brushing it back lovingly," Then go on!"

Eren closed his eyes, "It was about...five years ago," he began, "I was seventeen and my brother Calix was twelve. I was picking Calix up from school because some bullies had been bothering him on the bus. My dad was at work and my mom was a stay at home mom, so she was home. My father...had some dealings with the wrong sort of people. He crossed lines that shouldn't have been crossed and angered bad people."

She blinks down at him and tilts her head with a small frown, playing with his hair,"... I'm sorry..."

"Anyways, by the time we got home, they were already dead. Seems like my dad had rushed home to warn my mother, but they were waiting for him. He killed a couple of them too, but he didn't make it," Eren opened his brown eyes and looked up at her, "Calix stopped talking for three months after that."

She blinks down at him, pausing for a long moment,"... I never knew my parents," she murmurs, gazing straight into his eyes," I was kidnapped as a kid and was being trained as a child soldier i'm not sure where... I was wounded so they left me there to die. I was taken in by a sketchy family, then taken in by the Bloods," she smiles slightly and murmurs," The Bloods named me Blood Diamond because of my history... I saw they were no better then my old captors... And decided to wipe the streets clean with their blood... And thats my job." She blinks down at him with a small smile

Eren reached up and brushed his fingertips along her jawline, "Do you ever wish you did know your parents?"

" No." She bites her lip and shakes a bit as she swallows a cough," I wouldnt have seen so much if i knew them..." Maud blinks down at him," I wouldnt have met you too,"

A small smile tugged at his lips and Eren leaned up, hugging her around the waist, "Do you believe that everything happens for a reason?"

" Mhm," she smiles down at him and leans down so her nose brushes his," I do,"

"Then we met for a reason," Eren smiled. Their faces were awfully close, so much that he could see the color of her eyes in close detail despite still being a bit drunk, "That makes me..happy."

" Me too," she murmurs , pecking his lips lightly," I'm glad i met a Bear like you,"
