Eren pressed his lips against her hair, "Don't I smell like alcohol? Never thought that it was a good smell."

" It's like alcohol and ice cream," she mumbles softly into his collar, she was happy just to be embraced like this...

Eren chuckled softly and pressed a kiss to her temple, "Thank you. You smell like alcohol and flowers, maybe floral shampoo? It's nice."

Eren let his free hand comb through her hair and he closed his eyes. He hadn't slept with another person since Calix became a teenager. It was comforting.

Her breathing slows to a slow and relaxing rhythm. She was a weird girl... Bad history, unpredictable personality, gang hopper, child soldier, informant, god knows what else...

It didn't seem to matter what Maud was- Eren liked her for her. He fell asleep soon after, holding her against him.

TIME SKIP

When he awoke, it was early, and his head was pounding. He let out a quiet groan and wrinkled his nose.

Maud was sittin on the other bed, her back to him and holding a cellphone next to her ear,"... Yeah... Yessir... Yessir..."

Eren rolled over and forced himself to sit up, his head spinning, "Ugh..where am I?" He glanced around and the events from the previous night came rushing back.

She ends the call and glances back at him with a small smile," Hi, i got some hot chocolate for ya-" she points to a starvucks cup on the side table, a bible was crumpled on the floor in front of the TV, probably having been knocked off by their crunken walking

She smiles and rubs her eyes, coughing again but flashing a smile," Hey Eren..?"

"Yeah?" He climbed out of bed and stood up, stretching.

" How do you guys plan on taking over the other gamgs any way?" She glances back at him," You hafta have weapons, right? Or else your whole 'crusade'd be useless~"
