Eren, even though he most definitely had a weapon on him, didn't pull it out. Instead, he walked out calmly, hands in the air.

Eren's expression didn't falter as he slowly moved..In a flash, he pulled his gun out and fired a few shots before diving out of the way.

Milliseconds late, bulelts slammed into the wall behind where he was standing... These weren't blanks.

She stiffens but waits, unable to move with the hail of gunfire

Eren shot again, trying to get there attention and have them follow him.

Some more bullets sprayed toward him. There was a soft creak then maud dives out of the way.. Then there was a cry of pain and a heavy thud...

"Shit," Eren ducked behind the building and tried to peek out, searching for Maud.

But Maud was no where be seem, but some more bullets cracked agains the concrete just inches from his head...

He ducked away and took a deep breath, "I just hope you got away.."

Some how, by luck or maybe the grace of a higher power, Eren had made it to Dom and Dane's house unscathed. The cops had lost him once he had the chance to disappear and Maud... Well Maud was nowhere to be seen... Just that cry of pain... Was that her?

Thor began barking loudly when Eren approached the house, his bellowing woofs immediately awakening Dane who had crashed on the couch," Huh...?"

Eren just kind of stormed in, used to coming over to Dom's at all odd hours of the night or day. He ignored Thor's barking, preoccupied at the moment with pulling out his cell phone. He dialed up Maud and pressed the phone to his ear, anxiously waiting with furrowed brows and pursed lips.

Thor eventually stopped 'roaring' when Dane smacks him on the nose the his sight stick," Eren? That you? Where the hell have you been?!" He sits up and pushes himself unsteadily to his feet," There was a meeting, Dom said we were gonna-"

The phone rings only four times before the voice mail turns on," Hey! This is Maud, sorry I can't talk right now, I'll call you back if it's super important, have a super nifty day!"

Somewhere, hidden in a dark door way in a dark alley behind a dark building... Maud leaned against a wall, soundly... Her phone vibrating too softly or maybe she slept too deeply... Either way, even in dreamland, she couldn't escape the throbbing paint hat covered her body....

Eren growled and almost-almost- threw his phone across the room, "Maud's hurt. I know she is. She won't answer her phone."

" oh yes, because every time a girl doesn't answer her phone means her leg popped off," Dane drawls sarcastically, sitting back down with a heavy sigh," What the hell happened?"

"The police," Eren gripped his phone tightly in his hand, "They wanted to arrest her."
