Dane pauses and frowns,"... What an odd little change," He frowns and leans back," Did they.. say anything?"

"Just that she was wanted and they had to take her in..I'm telling you, she's in trouble!" Eren shouted, acting out in anger.

" Shut up Eren," Dane growls rather coldly, for an instant almost sounding like his big bro," If you call her, i doubt she'll answer because, A, the cops'll have her phone or, B, she doesn't want it to be tracked. Take Thor with ya back to where ever she was staying, this has gotta be old fashioned,"

Eren rubbed his face, trying to calm himself down. He didn't want to take out his frustration on Dane, he just...didn't handle this well. "Okay, you're right."

" Of course i'm right," Dane sighs dramatically," i may be blind but i know the Art of War cover to cover. Now take Thor and do whatever you need, i can just chill here listening to spongebob... I jus know he's yellow and square... And ADHD."

"Thanks, Dane," Eren sighed, "Come on, Thor," he called the dog gently.

Dane smiles and lies back, Thor hauling himself up and immediately pushing his nose into Eren's stomach forcefully

Eren patted Thor's head, used to the dog's rough behavior, "Alright, good boy, let's go."

When they reached the motel, there was caution tape nearly cutting off the whole parking lot, there were cruisers from last night with shattered windows and bullet holes from Eren... He'd done more then he could have ever know. There, of course, was blood spatter but the most notable was against the wall beneath the window of Maud's former room.

Eren ushered Thor inside, walking slowly and looking around, "Come on, Thor.."

Thor whines, his stubby tail pinned against his haunches and sharp ears lying flat ubconfortably. But the dog follows faithfully

Eren looked around, "Maud?" he whispered, keeping his voice low.

No answer, Thor sniffs at the door, pawing it open and slipping inside

Eren followed Thor, swallowing against his dry throat.

Thor rounds a corner of the motel and suddenly starts galloping down an alley way

"Thor, wait!" He hurried after the dog.

The huge doberman was already turning another corner into an alley. It was hidden by several tradhcans that are pushed aside by the dog's body

Eren cursed as he followed him, skirting around the trash bags.
