She clutches his back and murmurs," Wait a sec.." As thecreaturechatters a bit more loudly,"... It'stalking,"

Chance listened closely, his hazel eyes flicking around as he used his senses to locate the creature.

The creature's sounds seem to come from everywhere but it was no more then three feet ahead of them,"... Can you understand it?" She asks softly

"I don't recognize the sounds," Chance shook his head, "Perhaps it's a new experiment?"

"... It's Moe," she whispers, slowly poking her head out from behind him and making some chirping sounds that sounded more human then the creatures

"Moe?" He questioned, still tensed and ready.

She slips out from behind him and cups her hands around something, crouching, talons resting on her knees. There was more chattering from both when Rosemary whispers," He said... Water's close... But you don't have Moe scent."

"What exactly is Moe?" Chance asked, his eyes flickering back to normal.

"... Aliens," she whispers," I'm an alien... Some of thw last of this galaxy other then you humans," Rosemary glances at him," You destroyed us all... A holocaust beyond imagination by the former commander in chief..." She cups the creature's face in her hands,"... Thats why he's scard of you.."

"I'm not human, not really," Chance murmured uncertainly, "I was created, not born."

" With human DNA," she murmurs and sniffs

He took a step back, "It's not like I chose this.."

Rosemary smiles softly at him,"... I know.. And now so do they,"

Suddenly, thousands of pairs of glowing white eyes appear all around them

He looked around, his gaze cautious, but curious, "How many are there?"

"... All of them," Was her soft answer," But they won't hurt you now that they think you're reasonable.. And that my scent rubbed off on you a bit,"

"Are they..from the same place you are?" Chance asked.

" I dunno," she whispers, cradling the small creature in her arms, a large black tail wrapping around her legs

"Can they at least lead us to the water?" He smiled softly.
