Taryn buckled her seatbelt like a good girl and tapped out a rhythm on the dashboard. "Let's roll!"

Allie hit the gas and reversed, then spun her wheel and faced her car toward the exit "Lets." she said as she put it back in drive.

(I thought they'd both go over to one of their houses to get ready. But they could stop by Allie's house so she can get her clothes and then go to Taryn's)

Allie pulled up in front of her house, "I'll be right back I'm going to get clothes." she said hopping out of the car. She ran to her door and unlocked it, then slipped inside.

Taryn waited (semi)patiently for her friend to return. While she waited, she turned on the radio and sang along with the pop hits that played.

The sound of the door closing might of tipped Taryn off that Allie was back but she was way too into the music. She couldn't help it, Allie snuck over to the car and literally crawled all the way around to the passenger side, then jumped up banging on the window "BOO!"

Taryn jumped sky high and twisted in her seat to look out the window, wide-eyed. "Jesus, Allie!" she shouted over the blaring music. "You scared the crap out of me!"

Allie threw her head back laughing "That's the point!" she exclaimed in amusement. She jogged over to the drivers side and ducked in, throwing her bag of stuff in the back seat. "I couldn't help it you're such an easy target." she said to her friend as she drove off still laughing quietly under her breath.

Taryn reached over to slap her friend's thigh lightly. "You meanie," she laughed.

Allie just shot her a grin, they arrived at Taryn's house in a few short minutes. She pulled into the drive way and put the car in park, "Okay don't take forever to get ready." she told her friend knowing her all too well.

Taryn just laughed and bounded up to the door. She used her key to unlock it and then pushed it open to let Allie in.

Allie glided into the house she knew all too well. She went straight to Taryn's room and flopped down on the bed dropping her bag on the floor "Home sweet home." she murmured shutting her eyes.

Taryn went straight to her closet and started rummaging through her clothes. She really didn't have that many, but she was VERY picky about what she wore. She pulled out two very different outfits and showed them to Allie. "What do you think?"

"Hmm," Allie scrutinized them carefully with a finger on her lips, she looked like she was in deep thought. "Well you don't want to look TOO good. If you know what I mean." she murmured. "I say no to the dress and yes to the cute skirt and tight top."

Taryn turned and held each outfit up to herself in the mirror, and then nodded in agreement with her friend. "You're totally right. I KNEW I picked you as my best friend for a reason." She grinned at Allie, her eyes twinkling. There was more than some silly fashion sense and they both knew it.

Allie laughed at her friend and shook her head in amusement "You'll look great! I think I'm gonna shower really quick actually." she said standing up slowly inching towards her friends bathroom "I call it first." she said dashing in her bag in hand.

Taryn just waved her hand and laid out the outfit on her bed. Then she sat down to wait for her friend to finish showering.

Allie sang loudly as she showered dancing and rubbing shampoo into her hair, "All I am is a man, I want the world in my hands. I hate the beach but I stand in California with my toes in the sand!"

Taryn smiled faintly as she listened to Allie sing. Her friend had interesting taste in music. (lol)

In a few minutes the shower turned off and the sound of the curtain opening was loud and clear, Allie wrung out her hair and dried off. "Taryn should I leave my hair curly or straighten it?" she asked looking in the mirror.
