" i'll shoot you too if I have to," the strange rasping voice murmurs, the red dot wavering," Don't make me shoot you, Murk,"

Karane glances at a grocery store and starts toward it

"Answer my question and I'll move. Why are you shooting her?" Murk asked again calmly, obviously unfazed

" That's classified, Private, if it'll make you feel better-" the was the sound of the barrel of a sniper rifle clickin in the radio,"-You're talkin' to Unknown."

Karane turns on her heel and looks at him curiously, not notice the little red dot that danced on her chest," C'mon, murk-pie, lets go!"

Murk smirked a little. "I know it's you. However, until I find out why he should be dead, I think I'm gonna trail this stranger." He said before glancing at Kanane. "Alright." He said to her.

" You have no idea how dangerous Dr. Teto is," Unknown rasps," I suppose you'll figure it out soon enough." The red dot disappears and the transmission cuts out

Karane grins and crawls through the broken glass door of the super market, starting inside

Murk frowns slightly but follows the doctor before openig up another connection. "Tank?" He asked quietly. Tere was silence beore a familiar deep voice spoke through the ear piece.

"Yeah?"

"I'm trailing someone named Dr. Teto. She's interested in Unknown, You, and I. Unknown just contacted me and was about to kill her, but left me off with a warning. She's dangerous, supposedly. Can you trail us too invade I need you? I'll keep te link up so you'll hear everything. Also, find Unknown if you can."

There was silence before another "alright" came through. Murk continued as if nothing had happen, his voice so quiet that no one else could've heard

Karane smiles at him before disappearing down the aisle," Warning your buddies about innocent little me?" She laughs lightly

Murk was faintly surprised, but his expression remained a blank. "Maybe I am, maybe I'm not." He said cryptically

" Oooh.. Kinky," she chirps," Come on, help me find some Concerta, Prozac and some other stuff!" She giggles and her head pops up over the aisle as she jumps for ansecond," Come on! Hurry!"

Murk raises an eyebrow at her. "Kinky?" He asks. He can hear Tank laugh in his ear. Murk shakes his head and looks nonetheless, sorting through the packages in the aisles

Karane seems to appear at his side and chirps," I'm suprised you're helping me..." She glances at him with a cat-like smirk

Murk only shrugs and puts a lot of the drugs se was looking for into her hand without glancing at her. "I'm curious." Was all he said

" We have alot in common," Karane smiles and puts a hand on his hood," How come you wear this Bandana, any way? You don't need to so it's pointless!"

Murk moves away from her quickly, making sure his hood stays up. "Because." He says vaguely, continuing his search down the aisle. "What else we need?"

She tilts her head," And why the sudden cold shoulder?" She asks, looking genuinely hurt as she places the drugs into a small shoulder bag

"Sorry. It's personal." He said. He heard the hurt though and glanced back at her. "And besides, mysteries are better when you have to solve them yourself." He said with a faint chuckle before continuing his search.

She smiles weakly than turns back to the shelves, looking around,"... Surely you know who I work for now, yes?"

"I have guessed by now, yes." He admitted with a shrug, grabbing some more materials.

" I'm suprised at you STARS people, everytime I meet one of you, we become all buddy buddy. I kidnap them, experiment, and you guys act like I betrayed you," She sighs and frowns, staring at the shelf for a moment,"... How come you guys won't get a clue?" She looks at him, her bright green eyes curious," I'm the Chimaera, i'm the person who created this shit, i'm the one who's Corvus's right hand, I'm the one who rips you idiots apart and smacks you back together... So why do you keep coming to play with me?"

Murk is silent for a long time, continuing as though he hasn't heard. But finally, he speaks."Perhaps because we're just as curious as you. Perhaps we trust in the good of a person too much. Perhaps were too stupid to realize it. What is it that brings us to you? That's a question both sides ask, but neither knows. Perhaps the answer is simple, or maybe it's not. Maybe there really isn't an answer." He says cryptically with a shrug. "Perhaps I'm spouting nonsense, or maybe that's the answer. Who really knows when the human mind is involved. I already know what you put people through. I've already felt that kind of pain. I am me and not me, part of both sides, but I've chosen my own. I want to survive. Maybe that's the key of our mistakes. We are social creatures, no matter how we deny it." He mused strangely. He tossed her another drug package. "Here. What else you need?" He asked with the same blank expression, as if he had said nothing
