Song put down the bowl and took the wet cloth again, wetting it again before returning it to Ari's forehead. "Silent, aren't you?" Song mused with a giggle, moving a piece of hair out of Ari's eyes. "Then again, you've been thrown into a rather… well, terrifying and unfortunate situation." She sighed, absently playing with Ari's hair.

She nods weakly and stares up at Song with dizzy eyes, though a tiny smile graced her lips

Song notices and smiles back warmly at her. "There, thats a better expression." She said, detangling Ari's messy hair gently. "You seem like such a pretty girl, little lion cub, but just dirtied up a bit. Don't worry, I'll clean you up once you're better." Song promised. "For now, you should rest. I'm sure you've been through a lot. I can make you something to help you sleep if you'd like." She offered

Ari bites her lip to try and smother the smile but fails and shakes her head, managing a tiy," Thank you..."

Song giggles and smiles. "It's no problem." She insists before quickly whipping up another batch of somethig and pressing the bowl to Ari's lips once more. "Drink." She commanded gently with a friendly smile

" Wh-what is it?" She stammers

"Just a small brew to help you sleep, I promise." Song vowed, giggling. "Don't worry, little cub! It won't hurt you. Now, drink." She insisted again

Ari sniiffs it then slowly drinks

A warm fuzzy feeling quickly takes hold of her and her vision blacks out, the last thing she sees is a kindly smiling Song.

Eventually Ariella is move to a tent, laying down in a pile of furs. Song was nearby, talking with the one named Jessica in hushed tones, so as to not wake up Ariella from her rest

Ari slowly awakens, still too weak to move but she listens quietly to the boices, her eyes half closed

"… terrible disease, but I managed to chase off the worst of it. She'll live, but she's weak for now." That was Song's voice. A deep chuckle came in response, presumably Jessica.

"Good. Be sure to take care of our little cub. She's a ripe pretty little thing, and she does remind me of a bit of a lion." Jessica commented. Song giggled slightly and shrugged.

"I couldn't help it, she just reminded me of one. But anyways, I'll help her regain her health." Song promised. Jessica nodded, satisfied before she walked off. Song approached Ari and knelt at her side, smiling kindly. "Oh! You're awake! Are you feeling slightly better?" She asked. If she realized Ariella had been ease dropping, she said nothing of it.

Ari nods and smiles suddenly asking," What happened... To my dad and brother..?"

Song blinked at her question and grew silent as she tried to recall. "Your brother and father...... I'm sorry, but I honestly don't know. I had to stay here and tend to you the whole time you were out. Jessica only came to ask how you were. I can inquire about them later though." She said honestly. But then her face hardened. "However, if I do meet them, I'm going to give them a stern scolding! Leaving a disease to spread so terribly without trying to treat it! I can tell nothing was done to truly cure you. The nerve!" Song said with a huff, clearly peeved

Quickly thinking of a story, She rasps," Our illage didnt have the supplies to fix it, we had to leave to find a cure.."

Song took in her story and mulled it over. "It makes sense.... But it would've been better if they had left you at home and gone themselves. A few days more and I'm not sure even I could've helped you." She sighed, moving some hair out of Ari's face and then getting up, going through her medical supplies. "'Luckily,' though, Jess managed to find you when she did. You'll be weak for a couple of days, but you'll be right back in good health after that, I promise!" Song assured her with a wink before mashing some plant parts in a mortar

She blinks and nods, sniffing

Song hums a bit as she works before speaking up again. "By the way, what is your name? You never told me." Song said over her shoulder

" Ari," she replies softly.. Her eyes closing again

"Ari? What a pretty name!" Song says with a smile, bringing over another bowl of something and pressing the edge to Ari's lips. "Well, Ari, here's your medicine. It may not taste great, but it helps."

Ari's hands weakly cup over Song's helping tilt the cup slightly as she drinks and forces herself not to grimace.. It was like the first time her dad had let her drink honeymead..
