'A comet has impacted in the Los Angeles Harbor less then half an hour ago. Officials estimate the meteorite is almost 25 meters in diameter, the impact is said to have been catastrophic IF it had hit the city...' The radio rambles on and on and on... The docks had been completely cleared by police vehicles.. A group of officers gather around what looked like a body bag.

" Sir, Major Sayer is here to see the body..." A young officers murmurs.

An older man approaches the bag, kneeling and unzippig it," What the hell...?" He breathes,"... Is that... Human?"

She was locked on to target. Her eyes trained on his heart. She was little under a mile away, hidden in shadows in a dip in the ground. The shot would be a little difficult, she wasn't fully used to sniper rifles. The bullet was laced with venom so even if she missed his heart he would still die. After all she could shift in to an Inland Taipan; the most poisonous land snake on earth. A single drop of her venom could kill 100 men. She smirked and gently squeezed the trigger, firing on the exhale. The shot rang out as a large gale thundered to life. She had compensated for the wind, but not a hurricane like gale. The bullet missed, almost clipping his shoulder. Vex internally cursed herself. She wanted to kill him with her normal methods but her employer insisted that she use a sniper. Her dark brown hair was in a neat braid down her back and her vibrant green eyes were narrowed. She stayed as still as a rock, hidden. Hopefully they wouldn't come looking.

Th major grasps his shoulder in pain and his gaze snaps straight to her hiding place... The flash of the gun could be spotted in the darkness... Bu in that instance, a bloody hand shoots from the body bag and grabs an officer's collar... There was a scream and a splash of blood... A figure sits up from the bag... Devouring a cop's broken neck... The figure looked completely slick with blood..

"what the?" Vex mutters to herself as she stands. Forgetting her gun she jogs forward tentatively. She didn't want to get shot but wanted to get a closer look. Something wasn't right. Keeping one hand on her knives she crept forward.

The creature rips free of the bag, dropping the body. In the flickering light, more gunshots from other policeman...

But each time the lights flickere off, blood sprayed the docks. And soon, all the gunshots were silent and only the naked figure covered in blood slumped in the light, trembling

Vex approached cautiously. There were some things that wouldn't be killed by her venom, especially if they were already dead. Her venom only caused Vampires pain for a while. "Hello?" she called out tentatively as she came to a stop a few yards away from the figure. Her hands on her knives.

The figure trembles and moans, suddenly falling to his knees and supporting his hands on the dock...his skin seemed to be changing into a more human-like form, hair rising from his head until he seemed completely human.. But still in agony

Vex held her ground although she was completely freaked out. She did not move to go an see if the figure was alright but she didn't run away either. "um...you okay?" she called hesitantly. It was obvious that whatever it is, isn't human. Maybe it was another shifter? although she had never seen something like this from one of her own kind.

The figure shakily drops to his side, his flanks heavin and blood soaked. The creature trembles and moans in pain... Not very intimidating as if was when it was literally tearing cops limb from limb..

Vex cautiously approached. "Um, im gonna come a little closer." she informed it as she drew nearer. If bullets didn't work on this creature she doubted her knives would. "whats wrong with you? are you hurt?" she asked although she didn't really expect a response.

The creature slowly turns and looks at her with pained white eyes. It's pupils the only thing that had color... It just stares at her pitifully, twitching faintly as if being shocked

Vex looks at the creature then looks away with a furious sigh. What was she supposed to do? She could leave the creature there to suffer or try to help it. But if she tried to help it it could attack her. Gruellingly she crept closer. "If you attack me we will have problems" she warned as she bent next to the creature. "whats wrong? why are you hurting?"

It stares at her and tries to form words with its lips but fails and just reaches shakily out to her

Vex bites her bottom lip and looks around. Cops or more military guys would be showing up any minute. With a sigh she bends down and picks the figure up. "If you bite me I will kill you." she says with a hiss and she turns and hurries away. She was heading towards a forest.

The figure doesnt move in her arms, incredibly light despite his obvious mass, he stared foreward with owlish eyes as if he could see straight through the hugs crates of the lumber yard

Vex was surprised by how much the figure weighed but didn't think on it much. Her main concern was getting to the forest which was on the other side of the lumber yard. If they didn't get there before the Feds showed up they would be toast. She walked as fast as possible, trying to appear normal. Right when they were approaching the forest sirens could be herd. Vex cursed and ran into the forest just in time.

The figure twitches faintly in her arms and suddenly squirms free of her arms, grabbing her forearm and suddenly started running... But running impossibly fast, literally dragging her alon the forest floor until it... He... It tossed her into a tree and crouched at the base of the trunk, the blood on its skin seeming to be eing absorbed...

Vex coughed and cursed as her back hit the tree (like is she in the tree?). "what the f***" she exclaimed angrily with a hiss. Her eyes turned reptilian and she hissed again. Her body was cut, bleeding and bruised from being practically dragged through the forest. "what is your problem?!"she hissed.

He shivers once violently and cracks his neck before lookin up t her with his strange eyes, hisgaze blank

Vex's eyes narrow. "What was that for? Are you mute or something?" she hissed with annoyance. She was starting to get fed up with this job. Her employer probably wouldn't even pay her and now she was stuck with...whatever he..it was. "what are you?" she hissed.
