Abbey sighed softly and watched her big brother go. She hated to see them fight. Sometimes she heard whispers from the castle staff about her daddy and his brother, what they were like when they were little and Abbey didn't want that to happened to Kurt and Arryn because Uncle Cadr was a very bad man.

The baker took turn after turn, sometimes doubling back or going in a circle. But no one would ever know. Every alley looked like another so one would think try's been on a long trek. However chador was just assuring that his young nephew wouldn't be able to run away from him. "What are you doing alone in the streets boy?" He asked.

Kurt's eyes hardened, narrowing angrily. "I'm leaving my home. Nobody understands me there," he growled, following Cador. "But I don't understand- why are you helping me? I was just fine on my own," he said with a glance in the man's direction.

Cador turned once more and entered the bakery, he was disguised as the man who owned it, meaning the actual owner would not interfere, he had ne'er figured out what happened to the person when he took over their bodies. "Come sit," he motioned heading to the back, he found the tea and put water on to boil and brought out a muffin from the back. "My morales do not allow me to let a young boy wander the harsh streets alone," he replied. The news of the lad running from home warmed him, so Cador was just like father...

Kurt was becoming increasingly nervous because he had been taught to trust nobody since he was born. He sat, though, and tapped his fingers. It was an anxious habit of his that he had developed every time his father was around. He gazed at the baker, trying to muster a smile. "Thank you," he said. "I'm never going back there. There isn't anything for me there."

He smiled down at the boy, though there was no longer of anger or hate in his eyes. Instead it was like he actually cared.

Kurt gasped and jumped up, conjuring a flame in his hand. "What do you want?" he hissed angrily.

" Calm yourself child, he won't eat you, I'll make sure of that," a sweet, silky, feminine voice cooes from behind the counter of the bakery. A gorgeous, platinum blonde woman with sparkling violet eyes smiled gently at him, her gaze gentle and her body language sensual yet welcoming," Poor boy, we're all outcasts here," she murmurs, her voice sympathetic

Kurt lowered his flame just slightly, gazing from Cador to the girl. "Who are you?"

" My name is Aerys," She replies and taps her beautiful lips with a smile," You must be... Kurt?" She grins and it was like the whole shop was filled with light
