"Of course not. I have magic for that," Kiel waved his hand, "I need you just because you are you. Because if you haven't realized by now, I love you, and so I'm not just going to walk away."
Alexander glared at the wall in front of him, his back still turned to Ezekiel. Though warm flutters like butterflies entered his heart, he refused to give in that easily. Not when he had been hurt. Even though... he didn't really remember what had hurt him.
Alexander shifted uneasily but continued to glare, taking his mug of cocoa and walking over to the table, sitting down so that there was space between them again.
Kiel sighed, "I am sorry, Alexander. I don't understand why you're so angry with me. I was trying to help your brother when I snapped at you. I wasn't trying to be a d*ck toward you, but I needed space and time to heal him. Other than that, I can't tell you what I did to make you so mad."
Alexander continued to sip at his mug with an angry pout, refusing to look at the Warlock. Honestly, he wasn't so mad about the male snapping at him. He had forgotten about it by now. But... being angry just seemed like a good idea. If he didn't act angry, he'd probably cry with relief at having his brother back.
Kiel glanced over at him, trying to decide whether or not he wanted to give the Shadowhunter space or not. He walked over to him and touched his shoulder gently.
Alexander was both happy and angered by the action, and was extremely tempted to shrug the hand off but let it stay there anyway, continuing to glare at the wall. He really needed to get his emotions in check.
Alexander shifted a bit again once he felt the warlock's breath on his shoulder and neck. "Why not? I think it's a pretty good idea." The Shadowhunter growled, turning away.
In one fluid motion, Kiel spun the chair around so Alexander couldn't turn away from him. He was face to face with the boy, his cat eyes bright and glaring, "And why exactly is it a good idea, Blue Eyes? Because I'm failing to see the point."
"Loud?" He repeated, bracing hands on either side of the chair so that Alexander was trapped, "What kind of reason is that? Have we reverted to middle school again?"
Alexander crossed his arms over his chest with a pout, light pink melting into his cheeks. "Yeah! So you should go play with Colden and Jason and leave me alone with my hot chocolate."
Ezekiel caught Alexander by the chin, "I don't want to play with them, Blue Eyes. I only enjoy playing with you," he murmured smoothly, kissing him lightly.
