Not odd, yet not simple either, he was just different.
Fangwhisper.
The renown name of the kingdom of Yumi, as well as power.
Valor was known to be one of the most dull, blunt, rude, handsome, and above all, most powerful boys alive. He's only eighteen and has never lost a fight or war. He is 6'5" and cant control his temper. He has magic in his blood and it never runs dry. He, is terrifying.
Valor hiked the saddle back onto his horse, annoyed by the arrangement that had been made. He was to accompany his mother to the kingdom of Edulith where his mother was to attempt to bridge a rift between their kingdoms. He had, and has been acquainted with their daughter, so his father thought it would be best he go along, but he was definitely against it, in his state, he was afraid he might ruin their chances by getting with her, but he knew, he knew well, she wouldn't let it slide.
He got on his horse and started off with his mother riding next to him, and a few warriors beside them. He had on a black fur cloak and black garments, his hair matched that of the black fur, unlike his fathers white hair he had black, but matching his fathers crimson eyes, were those of Valors. They looked of fresh blood, dripping from an open wound.
Daesatra: A lovely young woman of only sixteen years of age, Daesatra goes by the nickname of Dae. She has beautiful, waist-length golden hair and emerald-green eyes. She is 5"11 and is really very pretty. She is the princess and sole heir to the throne of Edulith. Her parents could only have one child. Daesatra's favorite passtimes are reading, gardening, and writing poetry. (More TBA)
Daesatra was preparing herself for the arrival of Valor and his mother, who were the royals of the Kingdom of Yumi. She prepared her hair in a beautiful arrangement and put on her white dress for these specific events. (Below) Dae smiled at her reflection- she had met Valor before. They didn't exactly get along. She made her way out of her private apartments and down the stairway towards the courtyard where they would arrive.
As they rode into the courtyards there were gasps heard all around at the sight of such a handsome man riding this terrifying horse. A horse that looked dead, its face was half ripped to shreds and it was much larger than all the other small white horses. He looked around and caught the gaze of their heir. He was as well the heir of his kingdom, though it would be quite a long time till he got the throne. The Fangwhisperers were known to live for very long periods of time, some called them legends, some called them monsters, but most, just stayed away.
He hopped off his horse and gave a curt nod to her before helping his mother off hers. His mother, Lietta, smiled warmly, she was a kind and gentle queen, unlike the harsh feelings most get from her husband and son. She strode up wearing a long white gown. She smiled at the girl and bowed "good evening Princess Daesatra" she said with her sweet yet thick accent.
Daesatra gazed at the prince, annoyingly unphased by his horse's ghastly appearance. Dae watched the prince get off and nodded curtly at the prince, then watched as the queen was helped down from her horse. She curtsied to the woman, not meeting her eyes out of respect. "Well met, Queen Lietta," she murmured. "And to you as well, Prince Valor," she said pointedly, gazing at him.
He bowed as well, the queen never curtsied though, no one was above her, so she had no reason to. Valor gestured to the horses, "where are your stables? None of your men will be able to touch my horse, he will not allow others" he explained.
The queen kept a warm smile on, looking to her son when he spoke.
Daesatra blinked and gestured to a servant who rushed over. "Please escort Prince Valor to our stables," she said. "And bring Her Majesty's horse as well." Dae turned after she was finished and motioned for the queen to follow.
Daesatra led the queen inside. "I am afraid my mother has fallen ill. That is why she has not come to greet you. My father, however, will be ready to see you in the morrow," she began. "I will take you to your quarters, and a servant will see to your needs."
She nodded, "thank you Daesatra, i do not know if you are personally acquainted with my son but i believe you two would get along just splendid." She said, clasping her hands as she did.
Valor untacked his horse and helped the stable hands get the food for him before striding towards the castle, led by a servant.
Dae smiled graciously but wasn't so sure. /I don't know about that,/ she thought. "Anyhow, here we are," she said, leading them into a large apartment just for them. "You'll find a bathroom in the door to your right and bedrooms in the two doors to your left," she explained. "Meals will be brought up to you- breakfast at ten o clock, lunch at twelve, and supper at six o clock. You may order food anytime in between," she contined. Dae looked at the queen. "Your personal servant will be along at anytime now. Make yourself comfortable. I do hope you will be enjoying your stay here. Father- the king, that is, will be ready for you in the Great Dining Hall tomorrow at eleven o clock sharp. I would advise to to not be late- he doesn't like to be kept waiting."
Daesatra nodded and curtsied, then turned and left her to her own devices. She passed Valor and the servant in the hallway but didn't say anything. They might have been friends as children but they were not since the rift in between their kingdoms.
The girl looked horrified. "How dare you? I demand you let me go at once!" she said shrilly, jerking her arm away. She smoothed her dress angrily and glared at him.
Once Dae was inside her apartments, she bathed herself once more and took out another gown more fitting to a dinner situation. She took her hair down and began to put small pieces of hair in curlers for the evening. She put on a robe over her bare skin and sat on her day bed, laying down for a brief respite.
