The castle was large and very fancy, many servants invisible to thmeir eyes

"So, where is my father?"

"He will be arriving late today, Valor thought it best you not be there while they are still trying to attack"

Her eyes somewhat fell but she nodded. "That's fine."

She smiled and put a hand on the girls shoulder,"are you hungry my dear?"

Dae nodded smiling at the queen. "If you please, ma'am. I am hungry. That's where I was headed when I came out of my room, actually."

"Let me show you to the dinning room dear" she said turning and going down the hall.

Dae nodde and followed. "thank you."

She shook her head,"it is no problem my dear"

[~echo~]

She dipped her head and followed quietly.

She sat at the right hand side to the head where the lanky king sat, the red marking that ran down his eye terrified most. He looked up to the two and gave a small nod before continuing on his food, the king of all people had no need to respect others, but he did.

Dae gazed at the queen. "Where should I sit?" she asked respectfully.

She gestured to the seat next to her,"you may sit here my dear, i should have Sharon wake Valor"

The princess nodded and sat next to the queen, watching as she was served enough food to last a week. She ate quickly but politely and didn't say anything unless she was spoken to.

The queen ate her meal swiftly but with delicate manners.

Valor appeared half way through the meal with perfect hair and rubbing his blood red eyes, "just a glass of the usual shannon" he told the maid.

Not being able to contain herself, Dae jumped up from the table and rushed over to the boy. She hugged him round the neck. "Valor!"

He lifted her and spun her around when he hugged her, whispering softly in her ear,"dae"

Dae laughed happily. "Thank you so much for saving me!"

He smiled and nuzzled into her hair,"i would never let you stay in a place like that"

Dae smiled and hugged him again. "I didn't want to wake you this morning when I awoke so I just went down for breakfast."
