Daesatra was standing in the courtyard, watching the preparations for Valor and his mother to leave. She wished they didn't have to go, but Dae's father's word was law. She wore a beautiful white and red dress, trimmed with gold, that flapped gracefully in the wind.

He bowed to the king and then to Dae,"i hope to see you soon" he said and then walked to his horse.

The queen gave small nods to them both,"send a raven if you change your mind" she said before walking to her horse.

Dae watched Valor leave, feeling her heart rip in half. "Goodbye," she whispered.

The king nodded tightly and then turned, walking back into the castle without bowing or anything. Dae followed swiftly.

He looked back at her, as they left, sad he had to go.

The queen was obviously very upset.

Dae turned one last time to watch them go and then wandered back into the castle, sad.

They reached home by nightfall, neither of them happy.

A huge group of soldiers, all clothed in black armor, hunkered down in the forest near the castle. They had one objective- the princess. (Help me out here xD)

Daesatra was sitting in the garden, the dimming light making her sleepy. She looked at the wall surrounding the garden, her eyes drooping.

They had surrounded the castle, just to make sure if she tried to get away, there would be no escape.

A few figures slipped over the wall out of her line of sight. Suddenly, just as she was falling asleep, a black-gloved hand covered her mouth and grabbed her throat, forcing her over the wall and onto the ground. When she tried to get up and run, they knocked her out.

They tied her up and shoved her onto a hore with a man holding her and they swiftly left without another disturbance.

The queen, Dae's beloved mother, awoke in the night in a cold sweat. She quickly lit a candle and rushed down the long corridor towards her daughter's bedroom. She saw that the girl was gone and immediately alerted the guards that she was gone, nearly frantic with worry.

They took her to the enemies castle, putting her in a nice room, though small, and made for a handmaiden.
