It started out as a normal mission, or so Colden had assumed. It was always him and Alexander out together, being parabatai and all. But this time, things were a little different. Raven was coming along as well, as he learned from Xander later on. That was alright with Colden, though, because the blonde Shadowhunter was a friendly person and didn't mind going out to fight alongside others. Sure, he liked spending time with his parabatai, but it was a small sacrifice to make.
So there the three were, all decked out in hunting gear, weapons concealed as well.
THe white haired and purple eyed boy smiled at Xander and said "so Xan how has it been going?" he asked remembering the last time they had spoke was when they were both pissed and Raven had killed a werewolf
Xander looked over at the speaking male flittingly, though he was focusing on fixing his leather vest. "It's been going just peachy, Rave." Yep. Still attitude-licious.
Their attitude toward one another wasn't lost on Colden, though the reason why was. He chose not to ask though, mostly because he wouldn't listen to a lengthy explanation. And also, he supposed it didn't really matter to him.
And Alexander was well aware of the 'attention-span-of-a-goldfish' that Colden had. So instead of continuing to banter from where they left off, he hummed and looked at the two. "Are we just going to stand here or...?"
Colden hummed and pushed the doors of the Institute open, "If you two are done with the snippiness, we have a mission to complete," He strode outside, placing one hand over his seraph blade instinctually.
*They bicker like old folk,* Colden thought to himself and smiled in amusement. Like an old married couple, really. He could tell that Raven was intentionally getting on Alexander's nerves, which, admittedly, wasn't hard to do. He'd done it many times.
Raven jumped over them doing a front flip then started walking back wards in front of the two. He smiled at xander and Colden all he really wanted was for Xander to like him not Colden
"A band of demons that has been causing trouble in the downtown area of the city," Colden responded, sounding more excited than he probably should have.
Alexander sighed softly and turned his attention back to the road. One day, Colden was going to end up getting killed because of his stupidity, and yet he still loved him. "Don't do anything on impulse, okay?"
