Usually Kevin would wake up, make breakfast, eat, sulk in his room, and then go to work.
However, things were slowly changing for a week now.
Kevin's once healthy complexion was now pale olive and sunken in in his cheeks, ribs, and hips. His bones broke easily, and he bruised even if you just touched him with a hug. He was definitely more frail.
But he never said anything about it. And neither did AJ, even though his friend's appearance scared him. Like, literally scared him. He'd jump every time he'd see him.

Returning home from work, Kevin's hollowed face was gazing at the floor while heading into the kitchen to start dinner.
Alex was quiet for a moment before he rolled out of bed and headed for the door.
Finishing up with the needed parts of dinner, he walked out of the kitchen to his room. All they had to do was wait for it to finish warming and then they could eat.
