She smiled,"It's still just as wonderful as it was before," she said, running her hand along the door board which held their heights up until they turned eight.
"Thank you." He says again before disappearing upstairs. He returned a few minutes later wearing a clean pair of jeans and a green, button-down shirt. "Ready to go."
He noticed her adjust her sweater, but didn't think much of it. "Just let me grab my keys," he smiled and swiped them off a small, redwood table that sat against stairs.
Leland looked confused for a moment, "What do you mean?" He asked without really thinking about it before adding, "You don't have to answer that, if you don't want to..."
"Maybe another time, then?" He smiled, putting his hands in his pockets. "So what are your plans for this one-horse town?" He exaggerated, having gotten use to living in a big city.

She smiled,"i'd love that, thank you Leland" she said, hugging him before they walked in. She spotted two guys and a girl in the corner that were around their age, but all the rest were people that had been there for so many years they thought they were vampires.
"It's no problem." He shrugs. Leland looked around, noting all the usual customers with the exception of the group in the corner before moving to his usual place to sit when he came in for a drink, pulling out the chair for Jessica.
