"You said it yourself. They had red eyes when they were in that room." Leland recalled. "Why don't you? How do they change?"

She blinked and thought for a moment,"do you have uncooked meat in your fridge like steak?" She asked as she ran over.

"I have a chuck roast that I was going to cook tomorrow." Leland affirmed.

"Go get it" she said shooing him away to get the meat.

[Anime]

Leland left and returned a minute later with the raw roast on a plate. The blood had pooled under it.

Her eyes flashed red and she felt atracted to the blood on the plate. She felt her mouth drop open and her lips wet as long sharp white fangs slid from her gums, but she covered her mouth and scrambled back in shock.

Leland stood frozen in place, not truly believing the events of this evening until this very moment.

Her eyes were wide with fear as tears formed in her eyes. She should run, she knew she should run, but she couldnt move. Her body was glued to its spot.

Leland sat down the plate down after he nearly dropped it. He was torn about what to do. Jessica was a vampire, did he hug her? He eventually conceded and pulled her close.

She cried into his shoulder, her body no longer warm and filled with life but cold and dead.

Leland rubbed her back, trying to sooth her.

When she had finally controlled herself she palmed her eye sockets, wiping the tears away and hugging him tighter,"what am I supposed to do...." She mumbled softly.

"I-I can't answer that for you." Leland stuttered.

She whimpered softly,"do you remember what he looked like?" She asked.

"Um. I don't know." Leland rubbed the back of his neck. "I was more concerned about you."

She smiled softly,"thank you for caring about me" she said before slipping on her tall boots and grabbing her very long, very lose black sweater,"lets go find this as*hole" she said with a smirk.

[Anime]

"What are you going to do when you find him?" Leland asked.

She looked to him and smirked,"get some answers"

[Anime]

"Well, the club is closed at the moment..." He commented with a glance at his watch. "We'll have to wait until later to check back there."

She pouted,"he's not at the club then, we need to find him" she snapped.
