Leland took a drink of his beer, "You say that so casually..."

"Because i got used to it, thirteen years is a long time" she said before letting out a sad sigh.

Leland didn't think she'd like it she apologized for something outside of his control. She probably didn't want his pity, either. "Well, as you said earlier, you're free now. You have your chance to live.

She smiled and nodded,"yeah, fun isnt it?" She asked raising her glass to him.

Leland smiled, "It can be." He clinked their glasses together.

She took a long drink of hers and finished it, then finished her cigarette and sat back in the chair with a yawn. "So tomorrow, do i get to see everyone again?"

~WHEN THEY WERE YOUNG~

" HEEEEY!!!" A young girl howls as the group of toddlers streak over the hill toward the small house hidden in a grove. The little house was simple and white with a moss covered roof. There was not the usual dog barks but the birds sang and the wind blew and the sky was clear and the sun was bright.

And when they reached the house... It was empty... And has been~

"We'll see," Leland commented, "I'm not quite sure what everyone's schedule is."

She smiled and poked his shoulder,obviously a bit intoxicated,"you know you turned out a lot hotter than i expected considering the Leland i remember wore crocs and a Hawaiian shirt all the time.

Leland chuckled, "I'd be careful, if I were you. I might have to pull them out of my closet..."

She chuckled,"i miss that leland too though, i missed all of you, i still do" she mumbled.

Leland looks down at his drink, "We missed you, as well."

"I wish i hadnt lost all that time ya know'? Like i always questioned my life until i thought of finding you guys, oh and its so nice to see your face again...so nice.." She said, running her thumb across his cheek.

Leland watched her, "Well, now you have us again." He smiled, "That said, maybe, we can start to have some fun."

"All the things we got to do before work, college, and relationships took over: clubbing, getting in trouble, being adventurous..." He returned the smile.
