Kinda for te sW plot with the maddness going on.))
Something terrible was going to happen; this much Haman could sense. Their was a tension in the air that he could not miss. Everyone seemed ready to lash out at one another, and he knew that the conflict would find him eventually.
Therefore, he had ceased his constant wandering to help where he could, stopping at a place called New York. He sniffed out the pack less and told tem to move on. A calamity was coming. How many listened, he did not know. What he did know is that his prowling would not go undetected for long. Someone would find him eventually and smell the Malum on him. And then the conflict would try to drag him in.
Sitting in one of the back alleys with a few homeless people was where he currently hid. He warmed his hands by the small fire they created and stayed silent, holding his staff under one arm. He was instantly noticeable with his strange clothes, but here he was relatively safe. For now.
A feeling of dread and despair slowly crept into the atmosphere although what was the cause of it was less clear. A girl who looked to be no older than 19 walked down the alley towards the small fire. She had included this area on her patrols recently to try and avoid some conflict. She wore simple, beat up jeans and a black sweater. The hood covered her face in shadows although red-auburn hair could be seen. Her nose twitched and she looked up her eyes meeting the stranger. She had long ago learned the scents of the local homeless and his was not one of them. Her eyes were a brilliant hazel gold that gleamed in the low light. She approached slowly her eyes never leaving the stranger.
Shaman felt the eyes of the stranger and lifted his own silver ones to meet hers. Ah, here it was. Someone finally found him. He watched her for a few moments before looking back at the fire, shifting slightly. The homeless around paid them no mind as she approached.
He appeared calm, and not at all worried or hostile. However, he was tense inside, coiled in case the girl would try something. He despised conflict, but knew that there was no avoiding it sometimes. He would wait to see what happened

She came to a stop a few feet away from him. Her hands were shoved into her pockets and she stood in the shadows. To the humans she looked normal. To the non-human she seemed almost human. Only soul sensing would alert others that she wasn't human but even then it was hard to peg what she was.
The dark aura seemed to surround for it now thickly hung in the air. She was silent for a moment her eyes bearing into his silver. After a long moments pause she finally spoke. "How are you?" she asked almost politely.
Shaman glanced up at her voice. So she chose to talk? Interesting. Shaman remained silent for awhile, looking back into the fire before finally answering. "Well. How do you fare?" He asked back politely, his eyes remaining on the fire as he spoke. He seemed very odd, this one, especially his strange tribal-like clothing
"as well as one could be in times like these." she responded, her eyes flickering towards the fire then to the homeless. "you don't intend to eat them do you?" she asked nonchalantly although she spoke quieter than before. Her hands, which were shoved in her pockets moments ago, now rested at her sides. She appeared calm and relaxed and in truth she was. She was standing partially in shadows and she could literally dissolve into them. If he made any sketchy moves she would vanish in an instant.
At that he smiled slightly, glancing at her, before his face returned to neutral. "I do not intend to harm them." He said in a similar quiet voice. Him? Wanting to eat humans? The absurdity of it amused him. "What are you here for?"

Ariel smiled charmingly at him pulling her hood down. Her red-auburn hair was slightly messy but still somehow managed to look good. "Just walking although some could call it patrolling I guess. I caught your scent and decided to stop and see what you are here for." She smirked at him and her eyes gleamed mischievously although she had no real intention to mess with him. He was on 'her side' in the coming storm. No need to go disgruntle one of her own, although she wasn't above pulling harmless pranks or tricks.
He stared at her for a few moments with his neutral expression before glancing back into the fire. "I am only helping those I can while avoiding notice." He said with a slight shrug. But then he glanced at her again. "Although it seems I'm not."
Ariel shrugged "wrong place at the wrong time buddy. But you would of been discovered eventually. The local packs are super strict on borders and strangers right now. Not the best time to be wandering by yourself." she took a step closer but that was only so she could lean against a wall and get into a more comfortable position.
"Wandering is all I've done for years now. I had to help here when I saw the tension." He replied simply, not reacting to her closer proximity. However, he did move his staff into one hand, holding and leaning against it slightly as he stared into the fire. It was a solid stick, with beads and such on it.
She shrugged "i'm not judging or anything. Just saying this won't be the last time you are approached. If you're lucky it will be by another Malum. If not you will probably find yourself in some form of fight." Ariel slipped her hands back into her pockets
Shaman nodded at this, Going silent again. The. He actually turned his head to face her, looking past his silver, black tipped hair at her. "What do you think of all this conflict?" He asked suddenly.
Ariel chuckled darkly and ran a hand through her hair. "well I’m not really one to follow any rules or anything like that. I like my freedom, love it actually. If my friends weren't being threatened by it I would enjoy it immensely. But they are so I'm trying to take it as seriously as possible." She grinned this time flashing long canines. "But its in my nature to enjoy chaos, destruction, sin: the good stuff in the world."
Shaman listened to her intently, his eyes unnervingly trained on hers. As she ended, he chuckled slightly. "You are very honest with yourself about your nature. You may love vice, but you have some virtue." He mused, more to himself than anyone. "Who are you, stranger?"
Ariel smiled sincerely at him. She was actually enjoying this conversation. "Ariel Lionheart, named to mock the archangel of courage. Rebel Hellhound from the fiery pits themselves." she gave a joking bow as she said this. "yourself?" she asked when she had straitened.
He smiled slightly at her display and crossed one closed fist over his chest, bowing slightly. "Shaman, shaman of the former Akaveri tribe. Nothing quite as fanciful as your title." Shaman replied, standing upright again
She smiled "well I think being a Shaman is pretty kick a**." She paused for a moment and her nose twitched slightly "Werewolf correct?" she asked with a grin. She enjoyed Shaman and was glad she wandered across him instead of someone else.
He nodded. "Thank you, and Indeed I am. Tell me, do you belong to some sort of pack?" He asked curiously. He stayed polite the whole time, but now he faced her fully. The homeless glanced at them, but otherwise said nothing.
