"Im trying my best buddy" he said putting a hand on maxxies shoulder with understanding.

"Most people I know couldn't just stand back and watch," He commented, watching as Asa led a man back into the private rooms, "But I know he appreciates it."

"Im tempted to kill them all but i know he would get in trouble and not me" he said putting his hands which had a couple gashes from his nails carved into his palms.

Maxxie clucked his tongue and grabbed a napkin from the bar, dabbing the gashes lightly, "Damn boy. Don't kill yourself now. Most of these men are just pigs anyways. They are nothing compared to you. Just faces in the crowd."

"Just keep an eye on him for me if im not there i dont want anything to happen to him" he said

The blonde chewed on his bottom lip, "I try. But things happen around here- that's what we have the bouncers for. They keep people in line."

There was a quiet crash and a shout, before the room Asa had gone into burst open, "Get out of here, you *sshole!" The green eyed boy shouted at him and two big bouncers pushed through the crowd, grabbing the man by the arms and hauling his *ss off.

Glace ran over to Asa and glared at the man growling as if ready to shift and rip his head off

"Oh, sh*t," Maxxie muttered, running after him.

Another bouncer moved toward Glace, but Asa shook his head, "He's fine," he murmured, taking his boyfriend's arm and steering him away, "Glace, calm down. It's alright."

"What did he do to you?" He growled

Asa cupped his face, "He was just one of those *ssholes who doesn't want to listen to the "keep your hands to yourself" rule. If they get too grabby, we throw em out. Nothing too bad."

"are you alright?" He asked examining him

"He might have bruised my arm, but I'm fine," Asa assured him with a smile.

He growled "no thats not right ill be right back" he said turning to go after the male

"No, Glace, wait!" Asa went after him, nearly pouncing on him. He felt a bit turned on by his sudden protectiveness, but now wasn't the time for that. His boss would kill him if Glace started any fights, "It's really no big deal! The guy's gone now."

"I dont care, he hurt you" he said "i can track him down, he hurt you" he repeated growing angrier knowing that Asa was hurt

"Hey. /Hey/. Look at me, Glace," Asa said sternly, "I'm fine, see? Still in one piece."

He looked him in the eyes and then hugged him and said "i just dont want you hurt"

"I know, I know," He stroked Glace's hair gently, "I understand, but you can protect me from /everything/. Sometimes things happen."

He frowned and sighed "but i can do my best" he said

Asa smiled and pecked Glace on the lips, "Yes, you can try your best."
