He let out a grunt, leaning his head against the wall again. "Why, and for that matter, how, are you up so early?" He demanded, his eyes slowly shutting once more.

He let out a grunt, leaning his head against the wall again. "Why, and for that matter, how, are you up so early?" He demanded, his eyes slowly shutting once more.
"Sleep...sleep is good," he murmured back, seeming to slowly fall asleep once more. Though he snapped his head up, looking alert suddenly. "Sleep means that you are alert for things to come."
His hand shot up and caught the stone in between his fingers, a reflex he had developed by being who he was. "I am a light sleeper, I always wake up," he replied calmly with a raised eyebrow.
Alexianna smiled and picked up a small dagger from beside her cot. She flung it toward him without warning, though she wasn't aiming to hurt him, so it wouldn't hit him no matter what.
Elizah's hand shot up again, though it was somewhat delayed. It seemed as though he pressed his palm to the flat part of the dagger and pushed it downwards, as his other hand caught the edge of the hilt. The tip swung there in the air, as his two fingertips pinched the tip of the hilt, barely saving him from getting stabbed. "Is this a test or something?" He asked dryly, glancing up at her.
"I do hope I pleased you." There was the sarcasm again. He flipped the knife in the air and caught it by its hilt. Giving her a smirk, he handed it over to her.
"So glad I've done so," he replied, rolling his eyes. He hefted himself to his feet and arched his back in a stretch. "Shall we head out?" Elizah asked, stifling another yawn.
