Green eyes look up as she delicately cuts into the ham, gathering it on a fork. She rubs the heel of her shoe into her other foot for a moment before smiling, and looking back down at her plate. Patience

The king continued eating until he was quite full, then continued to sip on his milk. "Have you thought about what I requested of you yesterday, my lady?"

[Light]

She had finished her dish as well, a small glass of water in her hands, "Mm, I did, quite a bit." she lifts the cup to her lips.

"And what conclusion have you come to?" the boy king asked.

[Light]

"Well..." she lowers her cup back down, "I... could possibly do it," she answers, "if that's all you want,"

"I, too, have decided something," the king said quietly.

[Light]

"eh?" she pauses in drumming her fingers, curiosity getting the best of her, "and that is?"

[~echo~]

"My decision," he said, "is that you may take as long as you need to do so."

[Light]

Surprise crosses her face, her mouth pressing into a thin line as she takes in what he just said. Did he...? "Oh... well... that's good."

[~echo~]

The king nodded. "I hoped you would react that way."

(I was hoping that she is the one individual who would make the boy king want to be better than what he is xD)

[Light]

(I'd like to do that! It would be so cute~)

Her lips relaxed, and she plucks her napkin from her lap and sets it on the table, "You'll be glad you decided to wait," she tells him.

The king nodded. "Is there any way I can help you with your process?"

[Light]

"Just..." she bites her lip for a moment, "I need to watch, and learn about this place. That's about it."

[~echo~]

"Would you like to see some nature spots? There are some nice spots outside of town," he suggested.

[Light]

"That would be nice, to take a look at," she nodded her head and folded her hands in her lap. "But I mostly need to see people."

[~echo~]

The king nodded. "Shall I tag along or do you wish to work alone?"

[Light]

"It would be nice, if you came with me." she answers with a dip of her head.

[~echo~]

He nodded. "I will wear a disguise, naturally, but I will still go with you."

[Light]

"That would be best," she agrees, "When will you have time?"

[~echo~]

"Hmmm... perhaps this afternoon. I have a meeting soon," he said.
