"You didn't have to pull the chair out for me," she murmured in embarrassment.

"I didn't, but you like the fact that I did." Reagan offered.

"Tch, okay, it wasn't a terrible gesture," She murmured, glancing away.

[Anime]

Reagan's eyes gleamed, as she chuckled at the response. "Good."

Marnie opened a menu, clearing her throat, "So, is there anything you'd recommend?"

[Anime]

Reagan thought about it for a moment. "The eggplant parmesan, the four-cheese stuffed shells, and the spinach tarts are all amazing... Come to think of it, I like pretty much everything served here... Personally, I usually get the baked Tilapia with tomatoes and spinach, but I don't know if you eat fish."

She wrinkled her nose, "It's not my thing. The eggplant Parmesan sounds good, though."

[Anime]

"You won't be disappointed." Reagan commented. "Do you drink?" She asked turning the menu over to the wine list.

"Yes, on occasion. I prefer to stay at a buzzed level- why?" Marnie's lips quirked into a small smile.

[Anime]

"Because I happen to know we have an amazing bottle of Cotes du Rhone, which I believe would go great with eggplant parmesan..." Reagan answered, "if you don't mind me offering my opinion."

"No, I don't mind at all," Marnie told her, "If you think it would taste nice, I wouldn't mind trying it."

[Anime]

"Rick's wife--Rick is own of the part-owners of this place, as well as one of the two executive chefs here--is quite the connoisseur of wine." Reagan explained. "She is always raving on about the best wine pairings for our dishes. I received me information about the Cotes du Rhone--she says it also goes well with the stuffed peppers and the chicken and eggplant florentine." She completed the explanation with an eye roll.

She chuckled, "I'm willing to try most things once, so I wouldn't mind."

[Anime]

"It couldn't hurt." Reagan glanced at the waiter walking their way. "Ready to order?" She asked Marnie.

"Yep, all set," Marnie smiled in response.

[Anime]

Reagan ordered her usual and the waiter joked if she wanted coffee with that, which earned him a glare. "I think I'll take an ice tea." She looked at Marnie to signal it was her turn.

"Eggplant Parmesan and a glass of your Cotes du Rhone, please," Marnie smiled softly.

[Anime]

Reagan took a drink of the water, which was poured upon being seated, and watched as the waiter walked away.

"This is great- I'm so glad we did this," Marnie smiled.

"It has been awhile since I've been on a date with someone I am truly interested in," Reagan smiled, "So I am glad we did this as well."
