The woman stepped back with the same friendly tone "You can wait in Chase's room down the hall, he's in the shower." she said letting her inside and closing the door "I'm his aunt from his mothers side by the way." she informed her seeing her confused look.

Chase didn't hear her come in since he was still in the shower and his aunt didn't knock or yell for him either, she just went back to the kitchen humming to herself.

"Thanks..." Sapphire said, heading down the hall. She thought it strange that he was in the shower when she arrived, but maybe that was just her.

Chase pulled open the door, steam coming out and he had only a towel wrapped around his waist. He bumped right into Sapphire "Woah!" he said holding the towel firmly and catching her with the other hand. "No one told me you were here already." he said but didn't look the least bit embarrassed.

Sapphire's eyes widened when she realized he was mostly naked--not to mention looking completely gorgeous--and a blush rose to her cheeks. "Chase. Hi. Yeah, sorry. I just got here."

"I was cleaning up and barely jumped in the shower, my bad." he smiled pushing the door open to his room "You can sit on my bed, just don't peek." he grinned at her.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Uh... okay," Sapphire said awkwardly. Geez, when was she ever this socially inept? This guy was something else. She sat down on the bed and looked down at the floor, unsure of where else to look.

He pulled on a pair of boxers really quickly and threw the towel on the floor, then walked over to Sapphire and leaned past her the scent of soap and some type of axe hair product. He grabbed his shirt and pulled it on, slowly but not noticeably slow. His muscles contorted under his skin. He might of be showing off a bit. If he worked for it why not show it.

Sapphire swallowed, feeling her face heating up. Okay, he was definitely doing that on purpose. She leaned away from him a little.

Chase grinned and said "Sapphire, don't tell me you're being shy." he teased leaning down to eye level.

Sapphire lifted her chin, her blue eyes flashing. "Not at all," she said. She didn't respond to teasing well.

When she lifted her chin Chase leaned forward and kissed her hard on the lips.

Sapphire's eyes widened in surprise before they fluttered shut. Then her arms came up to wrap around his neck, her fingers playing with the hair at the nape of his neck.

Chase continued kissing her a few more seconds before gently taking her arms off his neck at the sound of his aunts call "Hope you're hungry." he said as if nothing had happened and opened his door for her.

Sapphire took a second to catch her breath before standing up and walking to the door. She flashed him a confident smile as she left the room, even though her heart was pounding wildly.

Chase gave her back a small grin and closed his door behind him. "I think she made lasagna." he said inhaling the scents. He wasn't used to delicious home cooked meals.

"Really?" Sapphire said. She wasn't used to such fancy meals, either. Her parents were both too busy to ever cook, and Spencer had always been hopeless at doing so. "Sounds good. Smells good."

"My aunt is a chef at that fancy restaurant by peck." he smiled widely, as if he were proud of her.

"Really?" Sapphire said. "That's cool. I wish someone in my family would cook... other than me." And trust me, she was about as good at cooking as Spencer was.

"Well tonight's the night you get a home cooked meal, not by yourself." he winked at her and pulled a seat out at the table for her to sit on.

"I couldn't be happier," Sapphire replied, and she meant it. She couldn't believe she was here, with him... about to eat home-cooked lasagna.
