"Because I miss Nathaniel," He nuzzled into his boy's ruffled hair and kissed his forehead gently, "I didn't want to kill him, but... He tried to end you, end me. I couldn't lose you. You were our only... Our only successful child."

"... Do ya think i'll find a mate?" He asks, letting his head be cuddled by Sasha while resting his ear against his chest, listening to Sasha's heart beat
