He rolled in his chair, moving side to side, head tilted back. No gigs for the day. His 'chores' were done.

" What?" A familiar voice calls," I hust got outta the shower, whatta ya want...?"

" Yeah, Yeah.... Whatever," he whines, soon appearinbf witha towel wrapped around his waist," Biology can wait, I already got an A in it... And when can we Grandma? You said we'd be able to soon..."

Sasha stood up, giving a restless pace, and then sat back down. "No," His voice came out sharp, "Do you not remember 'grandma'? She's kind of a b*tch."

" Yeah well... She's family, isn't she?" jackson retorts, crossing his arms over his thin chest," Plus I remember her givingg me a stuffed animal last time we went there!" He huffs and looks away, mumbling," I named it Bubby..."

"I don't care," He leaned back, tapping his fingers on the desk, "I just don't care."

" And you say Gamma's a b*tch," Jackson huffs and turns away, beginning to shuffles out of the room, black hair clinging to his fair face

He leaned his head back. God, he was tired. He cracked his knuckles, glancing at the bean-bag hanging from his office ceiling.

Jackson shuffles back in a few minutes later, curling up on the carpetted floor and resting his textbook on his face and huffing

He swung at the bag, his fist connecting roughly.
"Your grandmother abused me," He huffed out as his fist swung again.

" I know," He mumbles,"... But you killed dad... So i guess it's a win, win," Jackson looks at his 'mother'," I've always meant to ask any way... How did you get pregnant?"

That was a rude knife to throw. Sasha's throat bobbed with a harsh swallow. "We agreed to never speak of your father, Jackson. N-Nathaniel is off limits, we agreed to that when we moved here."

Jackson shrugs, adjusting the head phones around his neck," Our lives revolve around our family, doesn't it?" He glances at Sasha with his strikingly beautiful brown eyes,"... So how'd ya get pregnant?"

He gritted his teeth, swinging at the punching bag again. It swung side to side, the screw holding it up giving a low squeak. "Jackson.."

" I'm just asking... In Health class it's only women who can get pregnant..." He murmurs, glancing at his father and pursing his lips,"... So... What happened?"

"Nathaniel - your father - was my mate." He stopped punching, soft almond-shaped eyes flicking to Jackson's face. "It's all different, when you find a mate. All the rules are broken. It literally moves heaven and earth and everything between."

Jackson rests the book on hos chest, gazing back witha measured look, almost like an old man in a boy's body,"... I guess..." He sighs, suddenly curling into a fetal position"... Are you mad i'm not a girl?"
