She walked as best she could around them being detected by one would blow her whole morning. She sat down in her usual seat with a small sigh of relief

Kent glanced up and studied her curiously. He hadn't realized she was in this class. He didn't spend much time watching other people, though. He didn't know most of the kids in his grade.

She kept her head down as she doodled in her notebook, drawing a rose, blood dripping down the stem and onto the bottom of the paper.

Kent considered moving to sit next to her. But... no, that might scare her away. He had to be delicate, subtle. He had to take his time.

Once the class started the teacher made no notice to the planes and spitballs thrown at her, she just swiped them away

Kent didn't pay much attention. He was smart, smart enough to not come to school and still pass with flying colors.

The only thing she paid attention to was art class and whatever she was drawing in her notebook, she still passed with straight As but that was only so her father wouldnt flip out more often and hit her.

When class was over, Kent waited while the rest of the kids jumped to their feet and filing out of the room. Once nearly everyone was gone, he stood up.

SHe finished packing her bag then started from the room, either she would get out of there as quickly as possible or wait until they had gone to their next class for her to be able to get out.

Kent reached the door at the same time as her and gestured her through without a word.

She at first stepped aside for him but gave him a small nod "thank you" and hurried through the door.

Kent smiled faintly to himself. It wasn't something he did often. He slipped through the door, his backpack over his shoulder and headed to his next class.

She was backed up against the lockers by the time he had got there, surrounded by girls and guys alike, her head down and her eyes squeezed shut, frightened.

Kent's jaw tightened and he strode forward. A few people scrambled out of his way, frightened by his expression. He grabbed the nearest of her tormentors and yanked her backward. "Who do you think you are?" he growled.

The girl he had grabbed looked up at him "just mind your own business" she said pulling away from him.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Maybe this is my business," he said. His scowl deepened, a frightening affected.

She looked up at him, fear striking in her eyes. The girl who was grabbed by him huffed and turned causing the others to imitate "ugh fine take your freak!" She snapped walking away with her little posy.

Kent scowled after them before turning to look at Alice, and his expression immediately softened. "Are you okay?"

She looked up at him her right eye still covered by her hair "y-yes thank you, if you dont mind me asking, w-why do you care what happens?" She asked confused why in the past few days he had been able to stop these"events" from taking place sometimes.
