"If I tell them, you know they'll keep you here," Ronin said. He crossed his arms over his chest and tried to look threatening, even though he was still lying on his back. "They can stop you from leaving."

"There's no way a judge is going to take you away from them because you claim they don't love you," Ronin pointed out. "Half the teenagers in the world would complain about that."

Ronin opened his mouth to reply and then shut it again quickly. He couldn't argue with that, nor the fact that that might sway a judge. "My father is different, though," he said. At least, he thought so.

"I doubt it. Your father is head over heels for my mother. He'll do anything for her. Even if that means telling me to f*ck off."

Ronin sighed and dropped his head back and closed his eyes. There was a thunk as the back of his head hit the floor. "I give up," he said helplessly. "Fine. Go. There's clearly nothing I can do to stop you."

Seyong giggled and decided to drop the bomb before he left. He leaned down and pressed his lips against his step-brother's.

Ronin stiffened under Seyong's body, but a second later he fell into the kiss. It was strange and forbidden and basically just socially unacceptable, but it felt good. He reached up and wrapped his arms around his step-brother's neck, then broke away from the kiss with a gasp.

Seyong giggled. "Bye bye.~" He waved, standing and walking out.

Ronin gaped after him. He... he did something like that and then just... LEFT? He hastily scrambled to his feet and hurried toward his bedroom door, nearly tripping over his own feet in the process. "Se, wait!" he called.

Seyong stopped and looked back at him, resting his hands on his hips in irritation. "What!"

Seyong raised an eyebrow. "Hm. Let's see. It was a kiss. I did it because I harbour feelings for you that I shouldn't. I'm leaving so that I can avoid you as well as your father and my mother. And then? Well, then you get to stay at home and be the goody two shoes child that they believe you are, and I get to live my life free of guilt and anger."

Ronin took a long moment to process that. "If... if you have feelings for me, why have you been treating me like sh*t?" he asked slowly.
