Standing at the front desk of the hotel, Seyong sighed impatiently. They'd been waiting there for an hour and there still wasn't anyone coming to help them out. But- Finally!

"Yes, may I help you?"
"What do you think I need?"
"...A room?"

"What?"

Seyong raised an eyebrow and looked at Ronin and back at the staff member before gaping. "No. Never."

Ronin crossed his arms and gave Se a sour look. That was his reaction to people thinking they were together?

Seyong looked over at him while the male was getting the key. He shrugged. "What? We're not." He hummed, looking around the lobby. "We're not even together. Why would I say we were?"

Ronin sighed and shook his head. "Nevermind," he said. If Se didn't get it, he wasn't going to try and explain it to him. "Let's just go to your room, shall we?"

Seyong nodded once he was handed the key, turning and heading to the area his room key instructed. "I want to check out the place before I bring my things in."

"Let do it, then," Ronin said, tilting his head so he could see the number on the key. Then he headed toward the elevator.

Seyong nodded, standing on the other side of the elevator with his hands clasped in front of his waist, his thumbs twiddling out of boredom while he watched the numbers slowly ding as they approached. There was an unmarked tension between them that made him feel uncomfortable, but he knew that it was only because they had become strangers once again. And this time... He wasn't sure how he felt about it. Before, when he was sixteen, he felt that it was the only way he could escape the heart-wrenching pain he went through every day by being shunned by his mother. But now... Everything was fixed. Everything was, in a sense, 'back to normal'. But... his relationship with Ronin, or lack there-of, was causing him to feel uneasy.

One part of him wanted to hug the taller male instantly and be comforted by his hold, and the other part wanted to keep a distance of at least ten feet between them.

Ronin cleared his throat quietly. The tension in the air was getting to him, making him feel extremely awkward. He just wanted the elevator ride to be over. Finally, after what felt like eons, the elevator dinged to announce their arrival and the doors slid open slowly.

Approaching the room, Seyong seemed to be antsy to get Ronin away from him as soon as possible. Not because he didn't love him, but because... it felt awkward. It felt as if... it was just wrong. That they weren't supposed to be together.

Unlocking the door, he clicked the handle down in order to open the entrance and stepped in. For a hotel room, this was pretty nice. Probably because his manager had called ahead of time to book a room, no matter how much money he gave the worker at the front desk.

A full window occupied one wall of the room, looking overhead the neighborhoods and lights below, and a large king-sized bed with black sheets was placed on one side with a simple soft fabric headboard to keep it from rubbing against the pearl-painted walls.

The werecat hummed in approval and turned to head back out of the room to grab his things.

Ronin whistled quietly, impressed. "Nice," he said. "I guess being a star has it's perks." He walked over to the window and pulled aside the curtains to peer outside. The view, like the rest of the room, was top-notch.

"Yeah," Seyong murmured quietly, unable to raise his voice any higher. "I guess it does."

Walking out of the room, he headed to the stairs and hurriedly descended them to grab his things from the truck. He couldn't stay there with Ronin, alone, any longer. He wouldn't be able to control himself.
