Seyong's gaze flashed. "He's not a loser, okay! He's my groupmate, so watch your tongue!" He inhaled a breath. "And even though I don't want to admit it, it seems they can. He's the son of our manager. A spoiled brat, if you ask me. He can get whatever he wants."

"There are other options for you," Ronin said tightly. His hands were clenched into fists at his sides, his fingernails digging into his palm. "Other companies would sign you on. You're a world-wide sensation. You don't need them."

Seyong looked down. It was true. He could get into any music company now. But he was afraid.

Ronin strode over to him and gripped his shoulders. "You are brilliant and likable and gorgeous," he said, staring deep into Seyong's eyes. "You don't have to be afraid of what will happen. You don't have to bend to anyone's will. No one but you controls your life."

The father blinked. Gorgeous? Did his son seriously just call their younger son that? Hmm... Well, maybe he just called him that in a brotherly way. He was glad to see them getting along so well. They hadn't two years ago.

Seyong nodded with a pout. "But they'll hurt me." He said quietly, voice strained.

"No one can hurt you, Se," Ronin whispered fiercely. "You're too strong for that."

He shook his head. "No, I'm not. I've never been strong."

Seyong inhaled a soft breath and turned to the window, the sunset colors glowing along the countours of his face and small body. "I don't know you any more. It's been two years, Ronin."

The older male narrowed his eyes. Alright, something was seriously fishy. And he knew it wasn't his wife that was emanating that smell. "What's going on between you two?"
