He blinked, unsure of whether the boy was just purely stupid or if he sincerely didn't hear him. "Have you had sex before?"

Cei paused, nervously picking at the blanket on the bed, "What does that mean? I don't..lots of things don't make sense here.."

He stared at him a minute longer before bursting out laughing and collapsing on the bed, rolling around. "Oh my God! You don't know what sex is?! How can you not know?!"

Cei scooted away from him, off put by the laughter, "The language here is so different.."

He raised an eyebrow at him. "You mean you've been a servant all this time and you've never been touched by another person?"

Cei's eyes widened a little and his face flushed, "Y-You mean punishment?"

He blinked repeatedly. " 'Punishment'?" He echoed in confusion.

"It's always different," the boy closed his eyes and covered his ears, body trembling, "Things that hurt. Always painful."

He frowned and shook his head. "You won't find that here. When we're punished, it's usually because we've done something really, really bad. Life changing bad."

"Running away? I tried doing that a lot.." He trailed off and opened his eyes as the memories subsided.

Cei blinked, that thought never having crossed his mind. He doubted his could even do that, "I can't kill anyone."

He chuckled. "I tried to kill the head of the Stark household when he tried to hurt Jordan in his bed chambers. You'll find you'll want to commit murder a lot in this home."

Cei blinked, "I-I was taught non-violence."

"Well then, you're quite the benefit for the Starks." He chuckled. "Not so much trouble as Jordan and I are."
