Far over the mountains (crystal)

[Lyla]

Her silvery eyes shifted so take in her surroundings. Jackie had been used to forests and mountains but these were different. She had trekked along the river bed for a few weeks before stumbling across them. In her feline body, she could hear everything around her. She knew of a cabin not to far away, it was one of hers. The cougar quickly sped towards it and slipped in a hidden window and into a hallway. As she shifted back she cracked her neck and rolled her shoulders as she became familiar to the small residence once again as the sen began to sink below the hills. 

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

A pair of bright green eyes watched her from behind a leafy bush. A black panther crouched there, following her every movement intently.

[Lyla]

She threw her hair up in a Minot, and grew on a sweatshirt. She turned into the kitchen and began to rummage through the cab it's for anything that she could eat. She really didn't want to have to go out hunting now, she had been on the road without food for days

The panther's head tilted slightly and one ear twitched. Who was this girl, so close to his territory? He was outside the actual perimeter, but he was very territorial. He hates others even getting close. She didn't seem like she intended to hunt, though, so he supposed it was okay to let her live.

[Lyla]

Jackie huffed as she spun on her heel and headed for the door. She would collect food tomorrow, but for now she needed a snack. After stepping out she closed the door, hung the sweatshirt from a nail above the door frame, and shifted back. Trotting down towards he river again, snaking through the brush.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

The panther watched her go and then crept toward the empty cabin. He shifted into a human before trying the doorknob.

[Lyla]

As the feline neared the stream, she picked up the scent of a hare. Traveling it to its burrow, she hid herself in the bushes and waited for her prey to appear.

(Did she lock the cabin? I can't remember :/)

[Lyla]

(No. I don't think she did)

Adrian turned the knob and pushed open the door. He glanced around quickly to make sure no one else was there and then stepped inside.

[Lyla]

After seeing the hares head pop up, she waited until he was further in the open, before sprinting forward and snapping it up in her jaws. Jackies jaws were tight around her kill, and she took the time to break its neck for sure, before heading slowly back to her home

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Adrian started rummaging through the cabinets, looking for food he could take back to his pride. No, he certainly wasn't above stealing.

[Lyla]

The cougar would look up,to see the door open. As she pads in a low growl rumbles from her throat. Her catch neatly tucked tight between her jaws. Jackies eyes locked on him, an ice blue pool staring at him, very unhappily

Adrian looked around and grabbed a bag sitting on the nearby table. How convenient. He started packing food into the bag, intending to carry it back to his pride before the girl came back. This stuff could last them a long time, if they used it in dire need.

[Lyla]

Jackie kept herself silent. Padding over to him, and hooking her paw around his leg dragging him to the floor. A wicked snarl escaping her throat as she presses a forepaw on his chest, pinning him down.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Adrian grunted in surprise, and as an effect of getting the wind knocked out of him. He looked up at her and grinned. "Hello, darling. How's it hanging?"

[Lyla]

She just let out another snarl, swiping her paw and knocking the bag from his hands before shifting back. "Raiding my house, even though you smell I've been here, bad move... You should have bagged the place before I came. Would have made your life a little easier here pal."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Adrian grinned at her. "Oh, I don't know. I think the pleasure of seeing you naked was worth it," he said, giving her a sardonic smile.

(Just so you know, they can't shift with their clothes on... unless they manage to wear them as an animal.)

[Lyla]

(I know)

Putting a hand around his neck, "well now you've had your fun, and I'm going to kill you" she hisses.

Adrian chuckled. "I think not," he said. He shifted smoothly into a panther again, the transformation taking only a second. Then he swiped his claws down her bare stomach.
