Nala shrugged, feeling embarrassed. "I dunno how to explain," she said, rubbing the back of her neck.

"You don't exactly seem quite talkative today, you OK?"

She nodded,"im fine"

Nala nodded. "If you say so. Shall we head out?"

She grabbed her bag,"yup"

Nala nodded, looking eager to get out. It was a good thing to actually be doing something for once, instead of sitting around all day doing nothing.

Kia smiled and walked her to the starbucks.

Nala breathed in the scent of coffee, the air-conditioning making goosebumps raise on her arms. "Well, I guess this is goodbye, until later," she said, offering Kia a small smile.

"Yeah, until later" she said and waved as she walked away.

Nala let out a sigh, pushing a strand piece of hair from her face. She crossed her hands over her chest and leaned against the wall. It had been a busy day, it seemed like finals were finally coming up for everyone, as the coffee shop had been unusually crowded today. Well, it wasn't like she was complaining, she had gotten a fair amount of tips, so that was a plus...at least. She glanced up as she heard the bell tingling, signalling someone had walked in. "Welcome to Starbucks, can I take your order?" She asked, leaning around the counter to see who it was.

Kia chuckled,"if your buying"

Nala managed a small smile and leaned back, before taking off her apron and walking out from behind the counter. "Hey, I didn't know that you were coming so early," she said, putting her hands behind her back.

She chuckled,"look outside, its not that early."

She glanced at the clock and her eyes widened. Kia had been right; six hours had passed since the two had parted. "Huh... It felt like only an hour had passed," Nala said, chuckling weakly.

She smiled and chuckled,"looks like you like your job"

Nala shrugged. "Eh, it's a love hate relationship," she admitted.
