Nala nodded, before spinning on her heels and walking back behind the counter. She grabbed a tiny cup and a small bag of coffee, before placing a handful of beans inside the coffee machine. She place the cup underneath the spout and drummed her fingers on the counter, a habit she had created while working here. Once it beeped, she grabbed the cup from underneath the spout and pushed it towards Kia. "There we go," Nala said, a proud smile on her face. So far, she hadn't made anything explode, that was a job well done in her opinion.
Nala nodded, before walking out from behind the counter, stifling a yawn behind her hand. "How was your day?" She asked wearily, too tired to make a true conversation.
She gave a grunt, secretly pleased that she was a little worried about her. "'M fine, I just need a little nap," she murmured, blearily opening her eyes, "'sides, you've been working too, I shouldn't be the one to complain."
She chuckled softly, genuine concern in her multicolored eyes,"well i had a slow day, looks like you had a rough one, lets go home, i can make some hot coco and meatloaf with mashed potatoes and peas, how does that sound?"
"Right now, that sounds amazing," Nala said, sighing happily. She straightened up and clasped her fingers together, pushing them in front of her and stretching. "Lemme first get changed," she said, talking over her shoulder. She disappeared around the door and reappeared, folding the uniform and tossing it on one of the chairs.
