"And you're sure it looks okay?" Leo peered in the mirror, gently prodding at the snake bite piercings below his lips. He knew that his parents were going to kill him later, but it's not like they'd let him do this with their money. His new friend and fellow neko named Tory patted his back.

"Would I lie to you? It looks amazing!" The other boy was a few years older than Leo, being seventeen, and took to the boy like an older brother of sorts, "I'll make sure you keep them properly cared for so they don't get infected. Don't you worry!"

Tory had been giving Leo style advice and teaching him about all sorts of things! Seemed like he was knowledgeable about the world in ways that Leo wasn't.

The pair walked out of the tattoo and piercing shop, Leo happily smiling despite the slight throbbing of his new piercings.

Seyong was skipping along the block when he stopped, taking a few steps back and looking at Leo from across the street. Frowning, he looked both ways before walking over to the two boys. He put on a fake smile, though his gaze was concerned. "Hi!"

"Seyong!" Leo greeted his friend with a big grin and a hug, "It's great to see you!!! Look what I just got!" He pulled away and pointed to the snake bites, "Aren't they cool?"

Tory pulled out a cigarette and lit it up, inhaling deeply.

Seyong frowned with furrowed eyebrows, the expression looking worried and unsure. "Um..."

"They look great," Tory muttered, blowing out a cloud of smoke.

"They hurt a little, but it's okay!" Leo beamed.

Seyong wrinkled his nose at the billow of smoke and took a step away. Disgust was plain on his face.

"Oh! Seyong, this is my friend Tory. He's a werecat like us!" Leo smiled brightly, his ears twitching.

Tory smirked, "Hello."

He frowned at him and looked back at Leo. "What about your mom?"

Leo poked the piercings with his tongue and hummed, "Ummm...what about Mommy Sky?.."

"He's going to be mad at you for doing this behind his back..."

Leo sighed, "It's...not that big of a deal. They're just two little piercings. He and Daddy Ross are so busy lately anyways."

"That doesn't mean he's not going to be angry... Your mommy still loves you..." Seyong pouted.

"I know that! He should still love me. This doesn't make me any different," Leo huffed.

Tory dropped the cigarette and stubbed it out, "What's the big deal?"

"You're going against your mommy's back to do these things..." Seyong shifted nervously. "It'll hurt his feelings..."

Tory ruffled Leo's hair, "Oh, come on. He didn't commit a crime. I think you're being dramatic."

Leo whimpered softly.

Seyong shot Tory a look and shook his head, stuffing his hands in his pockets and walking around the two, heading to the apartment complexes.

The boy blinked and hurried after Seyong, "S-Seyong! Wait up...Do you wanna hang out? I haven't seen you in a while." He gave him a sad little smile, tail curling close.

"I would, but," his dark eyes slid over to Tory, "It looks like you're a little busy."

"Me? Busy? No, I'm not...I mean, I've been hanging out with Tory all day. I can spend time with you now," Leo smiled a little brighter.

His eyes flicked to the male's new piercings and he smiled half-heartedly. "It's alright - You two hang out." He turned and entered the building's lobby.
