Wow. Derrick was now twenty one years old and his career had sky rocketed. After Twilight had ended he did a number of other movies. From action to comedy to romance. He had really grown up. He learned a lot of things as he met all these new people. He had been so many beautiful places and experienced things he never thought he would. He hadn't seen Sena in a couple months but he made sure to stay in contact. She was just as successful as he was, her music was so popular he heard it all over the radio. It made him feel like she was always with him. But now he was back in Los Angeles and he knew Sena was too. He had bought a ticket to her concert tonight and planned on surprising her there. She didn't even know he was back, it was perfect. -Miss you- he texted her after he put all his stuff away and sat down on the couch in his apartment.

When Sena got the text, she replied with a -miss you too-. She was getting ready for her concert, but she always ha time for a text from Derrick. She was never sure where their relationship stood, but she was still in love with him. Not that she would tell anyone that.

-Good luck at your concert tonight, not that you need any.- he texted back, -I'll talk to you after. Bye!- he texted her once more before throwing his phone on the couch and going into his room, he decided on a black button up shirt, a pair of jeans, and brown worn dress shoes. Slightly casual and extremely handsome, he had thought to himself. He jumped in the shower and was out in ten minutes, he frowned as he shaved his beard. It had taken awhile to grow it but he knew Sena hated his facial hair. He didn't bother to do anything to his hair besides comb it to the side although it still stuck up. He sprayed himself with his old cologne he would wear in high school, for old times sake. Now it was 7pm and her concert started in an hour. He grabbed the flowers off his dining room table and walked out to his car.

Sena let her stylist take care of her makeup and hair, even though she would have preferred to do it herself. She checked her text and smiled to herself. She was glad Derrick and her had kept in touch, despite everything that had happened. "Is that Derrick Cohen?" clucked her stylist. "Now there's a fine, handsome young man."

The traffic was terrible and Derrick cursed at himself for not leaving earlier, "Come on!" he yelled gripping the steering wheel tightly in frustration, he was about 30 minutes away from the venue and it was ten minutes to 8. He didn't want to miss the first few songs but he knew it was inevitable.

Sena grabbed her guitar and strummed a few chords just to make sure the tuning was still right. It was almost time. Even after all these years, she still got butterflies in her stomach before performing. Once she wa on the stage, everything was fine, but before was nerve-wracking.

-Don't be nervous - Derrick texted her knowing Sena all too well. Finally the traffic cleared up and he sped down the freeway as fast as he dared to go, which was ranging from 80 to 90 miles per hour.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Sena stood backstage for a few minutes before stepping out onto the brightly lit stage. Cheering surges up toward her like a wave. She waved at no one in particular, a bright smile on we face.

Derrick got there at 8:17 exactly and parked right by the back door. He showed his VIP ticket before being allowed to enter. He walked down the hall hearing the music play, it made him smile. He couldn't wait to see her. Before going back stage he slipped into her dressing room and set the flowers on her dresser, writing a note for her "Beautiful flowers for a beautiful girl. Love, Derrick." Afterwards he stood watching her perform, a permanent smile on his face. It was too dark for her to see him, if she happened to look over there.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Sena played one of her old classics, "Love Story," first, a good opening to the show. Then she continued with some newer songs, along with some of her personal favorites. When she was done, she said goodnight to the crowd and retreated backstage again, aching for a glass of water. She walked right by Derrick without even recognizing him. "Water!" she called, and someone hurried up to her with a glass.

"What a diva." he said under his breath laughing to himself. He waited for her to go to her dressing room so he stuck around milling about while the staff started bustling about.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Sena gulped down some water, wetting her dry throat, and then walked to the dressing room. She blinked at the sight of the flowers and curiously walked over to read the note. She gasped at the signature. "Derrick?" she whispered. She whirled around and raced out of her dressing room, looking around wildly. He had to still be here, right?

Derrick was walking down the hall to her room when he saw her come out "Looking for someone?" he asked with a big smile and open arms.

Sena broke into a huge grin and ran to throw herself into his arms. She hugged him tightly, burying her face in his soft shirt. "Ohhh, I missed you so much," she breathed.

"I missed you too." he said softly over joyed at having her in his arms. He held her in a firm grasp and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek "You were amazing on stage."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Sena disengaged herself from his arms and took a step back. "Thanks," she said a bit breathlessly. "I didn't know you were coming."

"I wanted to surprise you." he told her smiling his eyes shining "I've got a clear schedule for a few weeks and the first thing I wanted to do was come and see you."

"I'm glad you did," Sena said. "We should spent the rest of the night together. It's been so long!"

Derrick grinned "Of course we're spending the rest of the night together." he said putting an arm around her and walking her back to her dressing room.

"Did you have anything planned?" Sena asked as they reentered the dressing room. "I wasn't expecting you, so..."
