"The perfect." he said softly leaning down to plant a quick kiss on her lips. He walked around to the drivers side and got in, only having to push a button on his keys to start the car.

Sena whistled softly. "Fancy car you've got," she said. "Didn't notice that before."

"I admit, I spoil myself. But now I've got YOU to spoil." he chuckled putting it in reverse.

"You don't have to, really," Sena said. She didn't want to be that girl that he felt like he had to shower her with gifts. She hoped he didn't feel that way. Or maybe he was just joking. She couldn't be sure.

"I want to. And we're not talking about expensive cars or designer bags." he said eyeing her, "You can buy that for yourself I'm sure. But you can't set up a romantic dinner and buy yourself flowers..." he paused, "Well you can but I'd like to do that for you if you don't mind."

Sena laughed and rolled his eyes. "I don't mind," she said. "You can even get me chocolate if you want."

"You can get me chocolate too." he said only half joking. They were already almost to his apartment due to the almost empty streets. It was 1am and even thought they were in LA not too many cars drove around at this time.

Sena grinned. "I'll remember that," she said. "Chocolate all around."

"Sounds great." he grinned back, driving into the gated parking lot and pulling into his assigned parking spot. It wasn't a normal apartment complex. It was big and beautiful. With fountains, flowers, and green grass all around. The pathways were made of beautiful stones and the shared pool was large and sparkling even at night. The jacuzzi was as a big as a small swimming pool. Most people that lived here were either rich or famous or both.

Sena peered out the window, her eyes going wide. Don't get me wrong, her place was nice, too, but she didn't indulge herself. "Wow," she murmured.

"I decided to get a nice place in LA since it's where I am most the time. Actually I only have one place, I'm not the buy houses in every country kind of guy." he said leaning over to open her door.

"Well, that's one thing I'm guilty of," Sena said with a laugh. She had a lakehouse out in Colorado, and a small cottage in Montana.

"Nah you don't have a lot actually." he assured her as he got out and shut his door, but quickly met her on the other side.

"Hmm," Sena said. "If you say so."

"I do." he nodded intertwining their fingers and walking her to his place.

Sena stayed close to him, glad for the warmth his body gave off. She was prone to getting cold.

When they reached his door, he unlocked it quickly and pushed the door open letting Sena go in first. "I'll turn up the heat for you." he said closing the door behind himself and turning on the lights. His door opened to a short hallway with a closet in it, then three steps went down into a living room. Very simple with a couch and a large foot rest. A flat screen tv atop an entertainment center. And up another three steps to the right was a kitchen. Granite table tops, big silver fridge, and a small area in the back with a table and seats built into the wall, presumably the dining room. Of course the other hallway leading out of the living room was where his bedroom was and the bathroom.

Sena looked around, walking to the kitchen and running her fingers along the smooth counter. It was nice, definitely. But not too nice.

Derrick turned the notch and the heater silently turned on. He came up behind Sena putting her hands on her waist, he kissed the side of her neck gently "You're beautiful." he breathed his lips brushing her neck.

Sena forced herself to keep breathing, but she let her eyes close. "You're too kind," she murmured.
