Derrick stood there silent for a moment, he laid a hand on her cheek and kissed her very gently then took her hand in his and led her to his bedroom. A bed more than big enough for the two of them sat in the middle of the room against the wall. A night stand on each side and a lamp on each night stand. He had a door in the corner for the closet and a dresser across from the bed. That's all that was in the room, not counting the shoes lined up against the wall.
