There was amusement in his yellow eyes as he sat back. Ezekiel knew he wouldn't be able to get home like this, since it was miracle he could even keep himself upright.
As if he could read his mind, Alexander stood. "Here, I'll show you to a guest bedroom. You can stay here for the night, as a thank you from us Shadowhunters for helping my brother."
Ezekiel took this opportunity to look around the Institute. He'd never been this far in.
Arriving at the guest room, he opened the door and stepped in. "There are towels in the bathroom and some clothes in the dresser... Though they may not, uh, suit your tastes."
The warlock couldn't help but laugh, "I guess I'll have to deal with it," he sighed dramatically.
Alexander smiled gently, though it hurt because of the bruises. He nodded and turned toward the door. "If you need anything, just press this button." He pointed at the button like a doorbell on the wall.
Colden was sitting by Jason's bed, watching over their brother. He felt very, very reluctant to leave his side, considering all that had happened to him lately.

Jason's eyebrows started to furrow as he frowned, rolling over.
Alexander walked over, resting a reassuring hand on Colden's shoulder. "How is he?"
The muscles beneath Xander's hand were tense and coiled, though he relaxed slightly under his touch, "He's been fidgety and moves around a lot, but other than that he seems okay."
