"What are you staring at?" He grunted, observant despite his half-asleep state. Colden trudged to the fridge and pulled out the carton of milk. He got out as glass for himself and filled it to the top.
"Your bed head." Alexander replied while continuing to zone.
Colden decided not to actually comment on that, instead he put the milk back into the fridge and pulled a box of cereal out of the cupboard. As usual, it was Frosted Flakes. No morning was complete without Frosted Flakes, in his opinion. The blonde joined Alexander at the bar, plopping down on a barstool and sticking his hand into the cereal box.

Alexander let out a soft sigh and decided to go check on Jason. Standing, he left the room as if he was in a trance. Stupid warlock, he grumbled though the feeling wasn't wholly anger.
He walked to his brother's bedroom and knocked on the door. "JC?"
There was a snore and Alexander smiled softly, quietly walking in and over to his bedside with a warm gaze. He crawled onto the bed and hugged his brother. This is what Jason needed: to be relaxed, not stressed out.
"Xanny..." The boy murmured while rolling over and burying his younger face into the other's black shirt.
Though he wasn't quite awake enough to deal with the outside world, when Colden's phone buzzed in his pocket, he sat up, alert and focused. He looked at the tiny screen, then pressed the phone to his ear, "Ezekiel? Yes, I got your message."

After his little phone call, it didn't take Colden long to get motivated to get dressed and ready for the day. He practically downed his whole glass of milk in one gulp and threw the cereal back into the cupboard. Moving incredibly fast for someone who had just woken up, he exited the kitchen and ran down the hallway to his room.
Colden did slow just a little in order to pick out his outfit. He settled on a pair of dark skinnies with black boots and a crisp, clean white button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He was busy taming his blonde hair, getting it to settle down instead of curl all over the place, when there came a rather loud knock on the Institute door, which was odd considering Mundanes couldn't see it. Colden stuck his head of the bedroom and shouted to his parabatai, "Xander, can you get the door real quick? I'll be out in a sec!"

Alexander sighed softly and stood, walking out of Jason's room. He had been playing an addicting game on his phone for the past five minutes and had got to an extremely difficult level. So to be interrupted right now was mildly irritating.
Walking to the door, he kept his gaze focused on the device while pressing his hand against the print-activated lock, listening as the door slowly clicked open. He pulled on the handle and stepped back, still focused on his phone as his dark hair fell into his face a bit and he blew the locks back.
"Cole, your guest is in now!" He called, cerulean eyes narrowing in concentration.
"Now, now, I think we're beyond formal terms such as "your guest"," A dramatic voice drawled as Ezekiel stepped inside the Institute. He flicked his hood off of his head, running a hand through his glittery hair quickly to make sure it was still spiked the way he liked it. His yellow cat eyes were trained on Alexander's face as the warlock smiled, "Nice to see you again, Blue Eyes."

Alexander blinked and looked up at him with round eyes. He blinked again. "Uhh." Nice going, genius, that was perfect. "What are you doing here?" Mental facepalm. Not getting any better.
"Well, as you already specified, I am here as Blondie's guest," Ezekiel flashed a white toothed smile, clasping his hands behind his back, "That's alright, isn't it?"
"...Right." Alexander turned and started down the hall. "Cole! You're guest is here! Get your butt out here!" He called, his voice getting louder and louder.
Ezekiel followed him, not looking concerned that he was walking around someone else's home. He seemed to know where he was going anyways, "Are you that eager to get rid of me, Blue Eyes?"
"Okay, okay!" Colden came walking out of his room, now looking much more put together.
Alexander fidgeted uncomfortably. Great, first the dreams, now the Warlock was in his home. Great. Great! Great. He grumbled in irritation and leaned against the wall, watching Colden. His gaze seemed to soften from innocently embarrassed to something a little more... feral. Then again, he wasn't the only one giving that look.
"Good, good," Colden reached out and unceremoniously grabbed the warlock's wrist, "Now come on, Kiel, and show me you got! We'll be in my room, Xan. Feel free to join us, door's open."
Alexander raised an eyebrow. Okay, that sounded extremely sexual, even though he knew that it probably wasn't. A stranger in his parabatai's bedroom. That was more than unnerving. But he wasn't about to get suspicious. Because then he would be labeled a freak (even more than he already was), and he didn't want to look like some jealous lover when they weren't even together (not that Colden would even consider him as an option).
He hummed and nodded in acknowledgment, walking to the kitchen to grab his orange juice that he had forgotten while focusing on his phone.
"I'd love for you to join us!" The warlock called to Alexander with a smirk as the Shadowhunter walked down the hall. He strode into Colden's open bedroom, pulling a stack of papers out of his bag.
Colden waited giddily, perching on his bed. New information was always promising. Though he did wish Xander would stay a while with him. It was always better with his parabatai at his side.
