Alianna nodded. "Lets pack up. But I think we should sift through some of the rubble before we leave. There might be some salvageable things to sell for money."
Serena sighed, though held back a snappish comment. "Alright, alright," she said, stretching, "let's go try and find something." She headed over to the rubble, leading her horse over to it and tying its reins on a protruding stick-like object; it looked like it could have been a beam from the stable.
Alianna's horse was still tied up elsewhere so she went over to the pile of stones. She began moving them, finding small bits of gold here and there. She also found what appeared to be a trunk hidden under much rubble. She opened it without great difficulty and found it full of dresses- her dresses.
"Find anything?" She called, digging through the dirt. She grimaced, pulling up charred papers, broken glass, and long poles. She wasn't having the best of luck finding anything worth value.
Serena nodded and got to her feet, starting to brush off the soot on her legs and dress, then giving up. It seemed as though she had made it even worse, if at all possible. The servant wandered over to her horse, untied it, and hopped on.
Alianna took the trunk, surprisingly light, and put it on the small pulled platform behind her horse. She then untied her horse and got on, kicking it forward. "Onward!" she said jokingly.
Serena managed a small smile and kicked her horse forward. The poor thing had still not recovered from yesterday's journey, though she pushed it forward. If at all, it could get them a little ways away, giving them a head start.
Serena put a hand to her stomach, grimacing as it gurgled loudly. "Hey, we might want to camp out for the night, the sun's gone down already," she called back to Alianna.
