"You keep telling yourself doll." He sighed, resigned. "Are we going to try and find out what this is, our are you going to keep gushing about all of this?"
"Yes, I see that. But you can't just ask that about a guy you've barely known," Elizah said, suddenly calming down. "Look, I shouldn't have snapped, let's..let's just keep going."
He let out a sigh, glad that storm had passed. At least the two hadn't ended up walking away from one another. He headed over to the bookshelf on the opposite side, selecting a couple books that seemed promising.
He shook his head. "Nope, I was given the barest minimal information," he said, piling books up in his arms and staggering over to a table. "I don't think a vial of medicine would be locked away in a chest," he said, letting out a grunt as he dropped the books on the table. He grimaced, as the patrons all looked up from their books and shushed him together. He whispered an apology and looked back at the stack of books, hands on his hips. "Well...this is a start."
He nodded, settling down in one of the chairs, draping his arm over the head of it. "Guess we have to start somewhere," he muttered, grabbing a book and starting to leaf through it.
Elizah snorted. "I have to agree with you on that one," he muttered, tossing his book on the table. He stretched his hands above his head, stifling a yawn. "That was a complete waste of our time," he sighed, slouching forward.
